For those of you who don't know, Paint.net is basically MSpaint on steroids, crack, weed, and having sex all at the same time. But can some one tell me how to make the paint bucket option not fill in the whole screen?

That leads to a paint-buying site. Anyway, make a shape with a thick black line, and when you want to get rid of that line, fill it in with the bucket.

So if there is a white line in between different shapes the tool will simply fill in everything? Also, if you googled it, you need to type in GETpaint.net.

When it comes to "genuinely legal" free graphic software, I think GIMP wins hands down. :)

I've never tried Paint.NET. How does it compare to GIMP?

OP, when you get the bucket, there is a small bar towards the top of the page that reads "Tolerance". Turn it down to 20 percent or so.
