Terminus Offensive Systems Actions

Remote Location, Bhutan

Construction crews hired across the land by Terminus Offensive Systems made their collective way to the remote location given to them by their employers, none of them knew much other than that they were being paid a lot of money for a very large job. As these people drew close to the assigned location they would have to pass through a series of checkpoints set up by ToS security personnel and a few of them would notice the occasional gunship on patrol in the airspace above. Eventually the construction crews would come up to a building site where after parking their vehicles they would be informed that their purpose was to help in constructing a launch platform for a space mission and that for the foreseeable future they would be confined to the local area for security reasons.

Not many were too bothered by this strict order and were content to get straight on with their tasks, most of which were flattening the local area so that construction of superstructure could begin. Bringing in heavy machinery the workers began to flatten the landscape in preparation for construction of buildings to begin.

Progress was going well at the construction site as most of the land was now ready to be built on and so phase two was begun a little earlier than planned. Soon the roads would be packed with massive cargo trucks carrying steel and other building materials and would quickly be ushered to the construction site where they would park up under the watchful eye of security and begin offloading their carried cargo which would either be moved to storage or taken to where it would be used in starting construction on a huge launch pad or the frame work for a nearby control centre.

Meanwhile in a nearby factory complex a number of work bays had been hastily modified so that the factory workers could begin production of ion thrusters and a number of professionals who were skilled in the knowledge of such technology were hired for the project. Each factory that was converted were promised that any loss of profit would be compensated by Terminus Offensive Systems.

Construction continued on both the launch platform and the command building, the foundations of which were quickly growing and it was estimated that the basic construction would be complete within a couple of days with a week probably being the longest time possible. Even more resources were arriving by truck and being used or stored for later use. However, workers and transporters would notice that a force of one thousand armed operatives had arrived on site and a makeshift assault course and firing range had been built for their use. Most interesting was that all of the operatives when training seemed to be wearing lightweight space suits that on closer inspection were revealed to be fully sealed and had their own internal oxygen supply, a construction worker who had experience in weapons trade from an apprenticeship noticed that their weaponry had extensive recoil reduction built into them sacrificing range and power.

It had been a few more days now and the construction work continued at a steady rate and with the foundations and framework complete work began on strengthening and expanding the actual superstructure of both the launch pad and command centre though less materials and energy were put into the launch pad as it was designed to be for one use only anyway. In the factories assigned to producing ion thrusters a total of four of the devices had been built now and more were on the way or so ToS was promised however, some delay was expected as a new project was again started this time it was the construction of four large block like aerial vehicles though they confusingly for the engineers had no wings or other parts but then again the engineers were to obey not question if they wanted to be paid.

Employment in Terminus Offensive Systems has now reached double its starting numbers thus taking the company out from its small beginnings and raising it to the more profitable standard of small mercenary company. With further plans for expansion in the making ToS will hopefully be making their name known across the world in the coming months ahead but for now they focused on producing and obtaining the necessary equipment to arm their new members. On a classified note however, a small kill team had been dispatched to the Antarctic region on a secret mission to acquire a new management member for the organisation.

Terminus Offensive Systems has now released its company website out onto the global network, along with the usual advertisements and company information is the offered services. These services range from providing trainers and advisers to providing weapons and equipment and then up to providing mercenaries for either offensive or defensive roles. Along with the ability to provide mercenaries there is the option to hire gunships and other armored vehicles as required and for single target removal Terminus Offensive Systems offers to send out one or more of their kill teams.

In all cases only basic transportation costs are expected to be paid up front with payment for services rendered to be paid on a successful mission conclusion. A disclaimer is put up stating that Terminus Offensive Systems will not take any contracts out against the nation of Tianxia and any attempt to take said contract will be reported to Tianxia government authorities.

To Whom It May Concern:

Precision Tactical (registered corporation of Selenarctos and supplier to the Army of Selenarctos) would like to propose a contract with Terminus Systems. Precision Tactical is preparing to construct a remote research and testing facility within the Micronesian archipelago, in the South Pacific region. The facility, once constructed, will consist of eight main buildings plus housing for an estimated six hundred employees. Over the next decade, we plan to expand the operation to fifteen working buildings and three thousand employees.

As the location is in a protectorate zone of Selenarctos, we hope to outsource our security arrangements. The primary duties of the contract would include facility security and controlling access restricted areas. As we are in a remote and less developed region, we hope that Terminus Systems would also be able to provide defense against pirates or other small hostile parties, and counter-espionage measures against corporate or extra-national spies.

Precision Tactical will handle all arrangements and permits with the government of Selenarctos. Please let us know if this is a contract Terminus Systems would be interested in, as well as your requirements and fees.

Terminus Offensive Systems can provide a starting contract of five hundred mercenaries for immediate deployment to safe guard the detailed facilities with a steady increase to two thousand over the next three months. If desired Terminus Systems can provide these mercenaries with light armoured vehicles for transport and quick response as well as shortly supplying two armoured gunships within the next month. The cost of the contract will be based on length of services required plus 10% to cover operational expenses however, if the contract is made permanent then we are willing to waive expenses as well as offering a 20% reduction in final cost of contract.

Will this be suitable for your needs?

Though gunships may be in excess, we leave the arrangements up to your expertise; note that the location is tropical in the South Pacific and receives regular downpours as well as occasional typhoons.

For length, we propose an initial five year contract between Precision Tactical and Terminus Systems, with the option to renew every five years afterwards.

Very well the first five hundred mercenaries will be shipped over to the facility immediately though it will take a few days to send them all, upon arrival they shall begin immediate security operations. Harsh weather conditions are accounted for with the equipment we will be sending and so that should put some of your worries at rest as for the gunships as Terminus Offensive Systems possesses no naval power at this time they will be used for chasing down and destroying any mobile hostile naval threats. Also as this is our very first contract management has decided to waive the expenses fee anyway as a measure of faith and gratitude. If you require anything else from us please contact us.

The first supply of Terminus Systems operatives, numbering two hundred individuals, would arrive at the facility by boat and would immediately start their defensive operations with half of their number spreading out among the facility buildings on patrol paths whilst a smaller number of Terminus engineers would begin on setting up a system of CCTV cameras to assist in watching for intruders. The rest would either be working on setting up appropriate quarters for the mercenaries or would head out into the surrounding area about the facility to better learn the land.
