Virillus
It really is starting to look like GGA is straight up stealing score from Atlantis EDIT: There's a typo for FAN... either in the initial, final or change DOUBLE EDIT: The obvious look back a page and see what FAN used to be at confirms it's the before score Those rat bastards! V The King
TOOL what happened? They usually stop recruiting for a while so they can filter out those who join and then go inactive. Wait a few days, then they'll start growing again.
BamaBuc
They usually stop recruiting for a while so they can filter out those who join and then go inactive. Wait a few days, then they'll start growing again. Not likely. We need to get rid of the dead weight and get organized, not weigh ourselves down with inactives again. We could be in the top 12 in a matter of days if we wanted to, but notice that we are not attempting to do so. Sanction is vastly overrated, and only contributes to the ghost problem. Right now, we're really not ready for a sanction, and it would only hurt us in the long term. It may be tempting to get our flag in game, but in our current state of affairs, it's not worth it. Hats off to Varses, Thomas20, and many others for awakening us to the problems of a sanction. Hopefully someday soon we'll be able to face these problems, but today is not that day. We have too many issues (inactivity, disorganization, low average NS) that need to be fixed first. For too long we've been perceived as "That noob alliance that only exists to get a sanction and has all the inactive dead weight". I'd like that to change, and I just wanted to let everyone know that we're not all "ZOMG RECRUIT ALL TEH NOOBZ JUST 2 GET TEH SANCTION" like a lot of people think of us. Recruiting like mad brought us from an obscure 50ish-man alliance to an up-and-coming power, but that philosophy has to change at some point. We could drown ourselves in dead weight just for the sanction, but we'd probably end up going the way of GOLD: becoming an empty shell of a once-great alliance, until someone sweeps up what's left. We don't intend to let that happen. -Bama

I know i wont be writing 08 for a while lol i was writing 07 even in March of 08.... btw i don't think sanction hurts, unless your allaince asks the question "okay what to do now?" on the other side, for those who visit these boards, doesn't count too much whether you have it or don't. only for n00bs who only know the alliances from the alliance stats screen. *thinking of his n00b times and in some ways missing it
