[list][*][color=black][i]Umbrella[/i][/color] comes crashing down today, dropping three-fifths of a point after the departure of one nation, ending their 29-day streak without a loss and allowing [color=#48D1CC][i]Fark[/i][/color] to assume that title. This also gives the [color=blue][i]World Task Force[/i][/color] a chance to move up in the rankings, as they're sitting only about half a point shy of second place.
[*]The [color=orange][b]Independent Republic of Orange Nations[/b][/color] has a strong day today as they continue rebuilding, adding a third of a point to strengthen their fourth-place position. The [color=red][b]New Pacific Order[/b][/color] also has a good day, adding close to a fifth of a point as they remain comfortably in sixth.
[*][color=maroon][i]The Last Remnants[/i][/color] lose a tenth of a point today, as they're now a third of a point behind [color=#FF00FF][i]The Order of the Paradox[/i][/color] for 12th place overall.
[*][color=#48D1CC][i]Fark[/i][/color] and [color=purple][b]The Legion[/b][/color] both post decent gains today, keeping pace with each other as they remain a sixth of a point apart. We already assessed that it's MOON U. It makes for incredible imagery, just think of it: "moon" and "you"... It's powerful!

We say goodbye to a dear old friend today: the [color=#00FF00][b]Global Radiation Level[/b][/color] is leaving us after taking a hefty loss and finally dropping out of the race. Til we meet again.

A loss of three nations for three-fifths of a point (180k NS, if my math is correct) sees this star alliance suffer its largest loss that I can remember, and leaves it barely half a point ahead of the surging [color=blue]New Polar Order[/color].
[*]A gain of a fifth from our two strongest orange alliances, the [color=orange][b]Independent Republic of Orange Nations[/b][/color] and the [color=orange][b]Orange Defense Network[/b][/color], allow them to keep speeding along well out in the open.

The Add Line is basically whatever the 36th-ranked alliance is - it's easier for me to coordinate with the 12-alliance tiers that I have in the All Alliance Stats. GOP's still in there because they're close enough to 36th, and I don't want to run into a situation where I'm switching out alliances on a daily basis.

As of right now, I'm thinking that I'll start using spoiler tags to include alliances ranked 37 - 120 on a daily basis. This will give all you yay-sayers what you want, but should prevent it from killing peoples' hands as they're forced to scroll past it all. The basic concept doesn't include that much more work for me - I already download the stats on a daily basis, so it'll just be an issue of running it through my program and mashing it into the normal post.

The only substantial bit of work will be to code a more permanent program (which I've already started on), but I'll be able to rely on past code to get me through that. The only tough part (that occurred to me as I was writing this) will be dealing with the statistics - I'll either limit the Biggest Gainer stuff to Top 36 alliances only, or I'll include the top 3/5 gainers from the whole race. I'll see how it goes - for the time being, it'll just be from the Top 36.

I figure that I'll start doing this [i]after[/i] the normal All Alliance update on Thursday.

EDIT: My other concern is that it becomes completely implausible for someone else to update more than 36 alliances manually if I'm gone, but we can find a way around that when the time comes (ie. when I go to Europe this June).
