Today wasn't a good day for any of the sanctioned alliances - the top gain was a relatively tiny one of 0.06 from [color=purple][b]The Legion[/b][/color], and it pretty much went downhill from there. The [color=red][b]New Pacific Order[/b][/color] took top spot by losing a fifth of a point, while the [color=#48D1CC][b]Mushroom Kingdom[/b][/color] and [color=orange][b]Orange Defense Network[/b][/color] both suffered double-digit loses. Meanwhile, [color=black][b]Sparta[/b][/color] continues to lurk in behind the [color=blue][i]World Task Force[/i][/color], though not gaining or losing any ground today.

I've been informed by my superiors (peace and glory be upon the ass-seeking cattleprod of doom) that [color=black][i]Umbrella[/i][/color] had a particularly delicious gain today, and that I always neglect to do commentary whenever this normally happens. So congratulations to that alliance for not only gaining two nations worth 250k NS, but also for ensuring that we'll be looking to our 17th-ranked alliance to fill out our last sanction position should the [color=#48D1CC][b]Mushroom Kingdom[/b][/color] lose a few nations because a couple of their backcollects got messed up. Casus belli = made.

Also pulling off a pass today is the [color=gold][i]Federation of Armed Nations[/i][/color], after the stats of the [color=maroon]Random Insanity Alliance[/color] take a small dip. [color=#48D1CC][i]Athens[/i][/color] is reaping the rewards of today as well, adding a quarter-point to end their race with [color=blue][i]Nueva Vida[/i][/color] for the foreseeable future.

In Tier Three, the [color=gray][i]Nusantara Elite Warriors[/i][/color] continue their dance with the [color=black]Goon Order of Oppression Negligence and Sadism[/color] today, earning a tie. On the other hand, the [color=gray][i]Siberian Tiger Alliance[/i][/color] comes very close to usurping today's Biggest Loser award, dropping a fifth of a point to land themselves back near the [color=maroon][i]Global Order of Darkness[/i][/color].

No, 17th-ranked. If MK drops below 200 nations, then TDO will be the 11th sanctioned alliance, Umbrella will be skipped, and IRON will be 12th.

No, he means 17th-ranked, because it will be IRON that gets sanctioned if MK loses a couple more people and falls below the 200 member mark. Umbrella is already a bit below 200 themselves (understatement) so they can't be sanctioned, so it'd fall to the next highest scoring alliance that has 200 or more members: IRON.

The two peaks were due to rogues-sweeping (did we over-react? ) but TBH I can't explain the consistent growth.

So few losses that I get to call out each one of them by name! As usual, we start at the top of the list with the [color=#48D1CC][b]Mostly Harmless Alliance[/b][/color], who loses a small amount of score after dropping five nations. A good day for [color=black][b]Sparta[/b][/color] on the other hand, as they gain a sixth of a point in an attempt to rush past the [color=blue][i]World Task Force[/i][/color], but fall just short by a matter of inches. Also having a very good day is the [color=brown][b]Global Alliance and Treaty Organization[/b][/color], who end the day *just* short of a Biggest Gainer award, gaining two-fifths of a point and sitting only two-thirds behind [color=orange][i]FOK[/i][/color] for 13th place (who lost a little bit of score today).

Continuing on an absolute recruiting drive is [color=black][i]Umbrella[/i][/color], who gains another two nations today to haul home yet another Biggest Gainer prize, having gained more than a full point in the past 48 hours. They do much better than the [color=blue]Multicolored Cross-X Alliance[/color], for example, who loses an eighth of a point today, while the [color=orange]Independent Republic of Orange Nations[/color] sees red as well.

Not too much happening in Tier Two today - [color=orange]RnR[/color] and [color=#48D1CC][i]Athens[/i][/color] both lose score, while the [color=maroon]Random Insanity Alliance[/color] gains a tenth of a point to leapfrog over the [color=gold]Federation of Armed Nations[/color]. Also some solid gains from [color=blue][i]Nueva Vida[/i][/color] and the [color=green][i]World Federation[/i][/color] at the bottom of this list.

In Tier Three, we see the [color=purple][i]United Purple Nations[/i][/color] equalling the second-largest loss of the day by falling down a peg, while [color=orange][i]The Grand Lodge Of Freemasons[/i][/color] takes its fate into its own hands by gaining the same amount of score, and pulling into a three-way race with the [color=black]Goon Order of Oppression Negligence and Sadism[/color] and the [color=gray][i]Nusantara Elite Warriors[/i][/color]. Solid gains from [color=black][i]LoSS[/i][/color] and [color=black][i]Poison Clan[/i][/color] as well, while [color=blue][i]NATO[/i][/color] is our seventh and final alliance to lose score, claiming a Biggest Loser prize in the process.
