The Orders are on the move again, with the top three gainers all being part of this group. The [color="#ff0000"][b]New Pacific Order[/b][/color] leads the way today, gaining a quarter-point to end the day less than half that distance shy of the [color="#008000"][b]Green Protection Agency[/b][/color] for second place overall. [color="black"][b]Sparta[/b][/color] dips downwards by a quarter-point (losing seven nations!), only holding their lead above the [color="#0000ff"][b]New Polar Order[/b][/color] by a fifth of a point - the same margin by which that alliance gained score today. Also on the losing end are two of our sanctioned aqua alliances, [color="#48D1CC"][b]The Democratic Order[/b][/color] and [color="#48D1CC"][b]Fark[/b][/color], with the former losing four nations for a third of a point, and the latter losing well in excess of a tenth of a point. Bold orange doesn't do well today either, but the only large loss comes from the [color="#ff8c00"][b]Independent Republic Of Orange Nations[/b][/color], who drop a fifth of a point but don't look to be in *immediate* danger of losing their sanction.

Even [color="#ff8c00"]The Order Of The Paradox[/color] doesn't do that badly in Tier One, likewise losing a fifth of a point and retaining a lead of about two-thirds of a point on [color="#800080"]The Legion[/color]. The [color="#48D1CC"][i]Mushroom Kingdom[/i][/color] is keeping close tabs on the Tier Barrier, losing a quarter-point to keep it in relatively close company.

As mentioned previously, [color="#c0c0c0"]The Order Of Light[/color] pulls off another large gain today, barely missing out on becoming the Biggezt Gainer, gaining a quarter-point and closing to within a third of a point of the [color="maroon"][i]Commonwealth Of Sovereign Nations[/i][/color]. Also doing well is [color="#0000ff"][i]Nueva Vida[/i][/color], who gains a tenth of a point to pass [color="black"][i]Umbrella[/i][/color]; something that [color="#ff8c00"]RnR[/color] likewise threatens to do in the near future as well, with a strong gain and a pass of [color="#48D1CC"][i]Athens[/i][/color] of its own. The [color="#c0c0c0"][i]Siberian Tiger Alliance[/i][/color] likewise does very well for itself, gaining in excess of an eighth of a point to put some added cushioning between itself and the upward-moving [color="#ff8c00"][i]Grand Lodge Of Freemasons[/i][/color]. [color="#48D1CC"][i]The Grämlins[/i][/color], however, put a sour note on today's results, losing two nations for nearly three-fifths of a point in score, dropping them past the [color="gold"]Federation of Armed Nations[/color] to sit a half-point ahead of [color="black"][i]Poison Clan[/i][/color].

Heh, I hadn't even thought about it, to tell you the truth. Prior to this war, I was thinking of doing an Olympics-based thing, with medals for things such as "Most Infra Gained" over a certain period of time, but a wrench obviously got thrown in those plans. I'd need to check my records, but I think I had about 38 "events" planned out in total.

If we do a head-to-head March Madness thing, I'd probably try to avoid any restrictions on it, and just let people do whatever to mess with their AAs. No attempt to police it.

And then there's like the five other Survivor styles we came up with as well.

And the first four alliances had me so hopeful that we'd see an overall gain today. The [color="#48D1CC"][b]Mostly Harmless Alliance[/b][/color] leads up off with a gain of a sixth of a point, extending their lead for first place to eight points on the button. The [color="#008000"][b]Green Protection Agency[/b][/color] finishes with a solid gain, but may still be falling into third place in the coming days, as the [color="#ff0000"][b]New Pacific Order[/b][/color] continues its surge - gaining ten nations and more than a fifth of a point to take today's Biggest Gainer prize. The good news ends there, however; [color="black"][b]Sparta[/b][/color] loses nearly half a point today, crashing out of fourth place with a bang, giving the [color="#0000ff"][b]New Polar Order[/b][/color] yet another reason to celebrate over the past couple of days, though this one is through no great achievement of their own. The [color="blue"][i]World Task Force[/i][/color] falls heavily as well, shedding over a third of a point despite the net addition of one nation to their ranks. And as the war rolls on, more losses for our orange alliances; with the [color="#ff8c00"][b]Orange Defense Network[/b][/color] and [color="#ff8c00"][b]FOK[/b][/color] each losing roughly three-tenths of a point, and the [color="#ff8c00"][b]Independent Republic Of Orange Nations[/b][/color] dropping half a point to take today's Biggest Loser award - only holding onto their sanction by a third of a point ahead of the [color="#663300"]Global Alliance And Treaty Organization[/color].

Tier One suffers less than normal today; [color="#ff8c00"][i]The Order Of The Paradox[/i][/color] can officially declare victory in this war, as they finally pass beneath the psychological 200-member mark, dropping three nations and a third of a point in the process. The [color="#48D1CC"][i]Mushroom Kingdom[/i][/color] still falls as well, but manages to limit their losses to a fifth of a point - less than what we've seen in recent days. The [color="maroon"][i]Commonwealth Of Sovereign Nations[/i][/color] suffers a slight loss today, but still manages to move up a tier - something which will likely repeat itself tomorrow with [color="#c0c0c0"]The Order Of Light[/color].

Tier Two suffers more than their fair share of losses today, starting with [color="#48D1CC"][i]Athens[/i][/color] - who drops a sixth of a point to complete their split with [color="#ff8c00"]RnR[/color], who looks to be challenging [color="black"][i]Umbrella[/i][/color] tomorrow. Taking the cake, however, is [color="black"][i]Poison Clan[/i][/color], whose bubble finally bursts to the tune of half a point after a couple of days with very large gains. They are overtaken by the [color="blue"]Multicolored Cross-X Alliance[/color], who celebrates its first day back in Tier Two by jumping by a sixth of a point. [color="purple"][i]M*A*S*H[/i][/color] rounds out our losses, losing well more than a tenth of a point, but still managing to move up a tier to leave [color="maroon"][i]The Templar Knights[/i][/color], at least until tomorrow, all by itself.

That gap has gone from 0.32 to 0.06 now that update has passed - I expect that the bulk of the damage would have occurred by now, but barring any surrenders on IRON's part, I think that they'll just manage to hold it. Only because GATO has a 20k nation deleting in about 8 hours, which in essence makes that difference 0.13.

That being said, I really have no good sense about the timing of damages.
