Perhaps I can sum up today by stating that only 12 out of 36 alliances actually gained score over the past 24 hours. That might explain things nicely.

The [color="#ff8c00"][b]Independent Republic Of Orange Nations[/b][/color] once again took today's Biggest Loser prize, dropping a point and a half to barely edge out [color="#ff8c00"][b]The Order Of The Paradox[/b][/color], who dropped a point and a quarter to fall into third place. Our third-largest loss once again goes to the [color="#48D1CC"][i]Mushroom Kingdom[/i][/color], who bring their losses down to less than a point for the first time in a number of days, but still fall past two alliances and quite possibly out of the Top 12 tomorrow. Odds are that anyone else with bold tags and without a gray dot lost score; the notable exception being the [color="#0000ff"][b]New Polar Order[/b][/color], who gains a sixth of a point as they enter this war (whatever you want to call it), but will likely be seeing some losses in the days ahead. Also performing well from our pool of sanctioned alliances is the [color="#008000"][b]Green Protection Agency[/b][/color], who gains an eighth of a point; [color="#c0c0c0"][b]The Order Of Light[/b][/color], who gains a fifth of a point; and [color="#48D1CC"][b]The Democratic Order[/b][/color], who celebrates this war by picking up a handful of nations and kicking the [color="blue"]World Task Force[/color] out of 12th place (kicking them hard, apparently) despite a small loss of their own.

Down in Tier One, [color="#ff8c00"]FOK[/color] is still idling in neutral, with the possibility of moving into 13th tomorrow, while [color="#800080"]The Legion[/color]'s fifth-of-a-point gain just barely makes up for a substantial loss from the [color="#663300"]Global Alliance And Treaty Organization[/color]. Tier Two has a mixed bag; the [color="#00FF00"][b]Global Radiation Level[/b][/color] continued to slow yesterday, still moving up by a point but far less than its multi-point gains of a few days ago, although the addition of another sanctioned alliance to the mix might help its cause. The [color="#800080"]United Purple Nations[/color] does well by jumping a tenth of a point (by gaining 12 nations!), while everyone else kind of hovers around zero. [color="#48D1CC"][i]Athens[/i][/color], for its part, loses half a point due to the war (the 4th-largest loss seen today); a repeat of which tomorrow [i]might[/i] just see them squeeze underneath the [color="maroon"][i]Commonwealth Of Sovereign Nations[/i][/color].

Tier Three is covered in red today, as only three of its twelve alliance manage to gain score - less than the Sanction Race average - despite having only three of its alliances involved in the war. The [color="#c0c0c0"][i]Siberian Tiger Alliance[/i][/color] deserves special recognition for gaining a tenth of a point despite these circumstances, bringing them to within a fifth of a point of the [color="gold"]Federation of Armed Nations[/color]. Among the alliances sinking lower; [color="#48D1CC"][i]The Grämlins[/i][/color] drop a sixth of a point, the [color="#0000ff"][i]North Atlantic Defense Coalition[/i][/color] drops one nation for an eighth, the [color="#c0c0c0"][i]Nusantara Elite Warriors[/i][/color] drops a fifth and may end up on the flip side of [color="purple"][i]Invicta[/i][/color] tomorrow, [color="black"][i]Umbrella[/i][/color] doesn't do too badly, only dropping a tenth, and I'll also force [color="#ff8c00"]RnR[/color] to join this crowd as well, having an otherwise-notable loss and ending the day a fifth of a point up on [color="#800080"][i]M*A*S*H[/i][/color].
