As usual, we'll start off today with the sanctioned... alli... ances... OH DEAR GOD, WHAT HAPPENED TO MAGRATHEA!?!?!? I know you guys gained Kaitlin, but a full point and two places in the standings, not to mention a free shot at the MARU line? Looks like someone blew their collective warchests just to get last place in Antisurvivor. (Psst... Anyone who has a grudge against Magrathea... I don't think they have any warchests ) Righto, back to the top of the race. A number of impressive gains today; one from the Hitchhikers, putting themselves a third of a point clear of third-place Hotblack Desiato, while another two come from Maximegalon and Golgafrincham - once again with the former slightly beating out the latter. Sass rushes out of 12th place with a half-point gain, handing over control of the Add Line back to the Wowbagger, who doesn't do that badly today either. 10th place Ursa Minor Beta drops seven members, and now has less than a half-point lead over the alliance below them. Xaxisian will be able to breathe easier tonight; thanks to a large gain from them and a large loss from the Ysllodins, CN's most popular Entente now has more than half a point to spare over their nearest challenger. Nutri-Matic does quite well, gaining a tenth of a point, as do Krikkit with a similar gain. But as I mentioned off the top; our real story for today is beneath the MARU line. Not only does Beep...beep...beep lose their leader, dropping a third of a point to find themselves in a distant third place, but Magrathea uses today to gain more than a point and launch themselves into a laughably unassailable lead. Meanwhile, Mckenna's All Weather Haulage isn't idle today either, gaining a quarter-point to launch themselves ahead of the Lig Lury, Jr - both of whom are flirting with 18 points, while Eddie the shipboard computer posts a gain which is well into the double-digits, closing these three alliances to within a quarter-point of each other. The Prak also posts a quarter-point gain, not challenging the nearest Tier Barrier, but certainly looking to place themselves on the plus side of 17. The Random Insanity Alliance follows suit, gaining four members for a double-digit gain, as does the Quentulus Quazgar Mountains.
