Any alliance that doesn't have a number beside it is still stuck on the island, and are still in play. The dividing lines separate these alliances from the ones who have escaped. Any alliance with a number beside it has escaped from the island. They are ranked in order of their exit. ie. RoK exited on the first day, GPA exited on the second day, and so on. NSO is a special case, because they were removed from the Sanction Race in the middle of this (hence the strikethrough), and were therefore placed in last. Their only advantage is more numbers, we win in pretty much every other stat that matters. If only score still took AVG NS into account. Anybody recall what the formula was, it's slipped from my mind. It was a bunch of base ten divisions for members NS and average NS, with the results then added together I believe. something like (I'll probably mess up the ratios, but maybe it'll jog somebody elses memory.) (NS\100,000) + (members\100) + (average NS\10) No thats not quite right, I think I've forgotten a step. Edit: Only one I could dig up on the old forums was a post from admin mid 2007 gave the formula as thus; (alliance nations / totalnations * 1000) + (alliance strength / 100000) Thats still not the one that includes average NS though.
