Our third ranked alliance gains about a sixth of a point to close on the alliance ahead of them. The New Polar Order's back in the hunt for Sparta! Our fourth ranked alliance gains about a sixth of a point to close on the alliance ahead of them. The Orange Defense Network's back in the hunt for the Biggest Loser award! Our fourth ranked alliance loses about a sixth of a point only to come in second place to the Siberian Tiger Alliance. Leaving that rather annoying train of thought, the Green Protection Agency gains more than a quarter-point today; only failing to close to within a point of Fark due to that alliance's double-digit gain. FOK also does very well, jumping a quarter-point, and closing to within a tenth of a point of The Democratic Order for tenth place overall. (For the record, The Democratic Order is my personal favourite to win/lose anti-Survivor. Yeah, that's right. You've just been called out in the commentary. Make it your personal challenge to prove me for a fool.) Either one of those alliances may soon have to contend with the Viridian Entente and the Mushroom Kingdom - both of those alliances gaining a fifth of a point, closing rapidly on The Order Of Light while keeping half a point between each other. Of course, none of this is any concern for Ragnarok, who gains nearly a tenth of a point on the MARU line, and barring any fantastic changes like we saw yesterday, should be able to cruise across that threshold in only a few days. Nevertheless, this near-inevitability isn't stopping the United Purple Nations from putting on a decent gain today, while Monos Archein continues their descent with equal movement in the other direction. Action is heating up at the bottom of Tier Two! The Multicolored Cross-X Alliance moves into a tie with the Commonwealth Of Sovereign Nations with a notable gain, while Invicta is taking on the role of the dark horse; still managing to stay less than a quarter-point behind. I almost feel like we need some sort of challenge to see who can pass Athens first. As mentioned earlier, the Siberian Tiger Alliance loses one member for 50k NS, give or take, but still retain a sizable lead over the Random Insanity Alliance - nearly half a point behind. The North Atlantic Defense Coalition drops a touch to stand mid-way between M*A*S*H and RnR, while Umbrella makes some serious waves by doubling their lead over We Are Perth Army. Finally, we'll end tonight by mentioning the New Sith Order, who appears to be lining up for their 17th battle with the Drop Line. ---------- Related Links: Stats By Unspeakable Evil Tournament Edition Sanction Race How To Update the Amazing Sanction Race Sanction Race Update Creator spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pFd...rmXWQ&hl=en [/update]

DogeWilliam
I never thought Rok would win the game like that, making a flashy exit like that I don't think you understand the rules of anti-survivor. The winner is the person who posts the most steady record of losses. Even though it might seem logical to want off the island, getting kicked off still denotes losing the game. Also good riddance GPA. Edited September 22, 2009 by DogeWilliam

dragonknight1000
quick, TOOL, get us out of Anti-Survivor also, while it's good we're making progress - it's hard to see as such on the Race. (Begin secret TOOL advancement plan: 1st: ready a armed bombardment of war dragons to push back VE and MK from reaching TOOL; 2nd: send poisoned Dragon Flame Pizza to WTF and have them drop a point so they can enter TOOL's attack range; 3rd: enjoy a sweet victory. End secret transmission). anyway, great update Gopher (always loved your commentary

Your jests at Athen's growth rate hurt me inside We are actually only just stable from our merge with DE and starting to push tech deals on everyone again. We are growing a steady 15K NS per day while not recruiting, so I really don't understand how the scoring system still makes us look bad. But I look up at Athens every day, and think you're just so fit for OM NOM NOMing. Your lack of recruitment is what's doing it. In the past month, you've dropped to 186 nations from 218 - a drop of 32. This is equivalent to 0.38 score, or roughly 115,000 NS. In addition - I just checked UE's stats, and your alliance NS has gone down from 4,990,000 to 4,909,000 in the past month - equal to 0.27 score. Add those two up (give or take), and you go from 19.29 a month ago, to 18.69 today. Edited September 22, 2009 by Gopherbashi
