Gopherbashi
/me votes for keeping this tier system. The only other thing I was going to suggest was to have tiers based on 7/8, 3/4, and 5/8 of the 12th ranked alliance (keeping in line with how the Add Line is calculated), but since a lot of people have a tough enough time figuring out 1/2 as it is, this can work well. Arcadian Empire
I wish I could take credit for it.. But someone did it, and I'm waiting for the person to claim the credit And thanks Chaoshawk and im317!
MTTezla
It's a very nice tier system. Also happy birthday. And hooray GATO, that gain puts us in striking distance of the alliances ahead of us.
Strider
I wish I could take credit for it..But someone did it, and I'm waiting for the person to claim the credit And thanks Chaoshawk and im317! Meh. It's not perfect, but I think that pretty much anything we come up with would have some type of problem. I'm mostly concerned with the possibility that alliances might start to "group" into a certain 5-point range. Adjustments may be in order as the sanction race continues. Tromp
I asked admin once to reinstate the GOONS flag but he wasn't very receptive. He said GOONS would have to reform and become sanctioned if we wanted the flag back. Sigh. I don't get that, because the NAAC flag is still available? Also, nice gain for FOK. Uhtred
I don't get that, because the NAAC flag is still available? Also, nice gain for FOK. If I recall correctly, when NAAC and LUE disbanded admin said he'd keep both their flags in the game out of respect to the contribution they'd made to the game. TheThirdMark
If I recall correctly, when NAAC and LUE disbanded admin said he'd keep both their flags in the game out of respect to the contribution they'd made to the game. Thats a dumb reason actually. Either you keep flags in or you get rid of them once their time is up. Double standards are not cool.

Aye, although I believe the rules about flags weren't standardised until sometime after they disbanded but obviously before UJP so \m/ and GOONS having to ask for their flags to be kept wasn't really double standards. I could be remembering all this incorrectly though so don't take it as accurate unless someone else clarifies.
Arwen
They should just get rid of your flag once you lose sanction.
Asa Phillips
I don't see why being sanctioned is the requirement for having a flag in-game at all. And as previously stated, there have been many influential alliances here who never reached sanction but should still be remembered for their contributions, weather that asked to be remembered or not. Some of the real worlds greatest and most influential leaders never had the chance to be remembered, but yet they are. I've always felt something more important should be granted for sanctioned alliances... while flags should just be added by moderate request with restrictions, perhaps having 50 members in a requesting alliance. Doesn't seem like it would be a terrible amount of work in my amateur opinion. Especially when you consider all the non real world nation flags already in-game that are used my the minority of players, at best, and are flat out ugly. Let be honest, without the recognition brought about by the extracurricular work put in by regular members for topics such as these, the only thing a sanction gets you is your name from the drop down menu and a flag that isn't even labeled with anything remotely close to the alliance it stands for. Most active people know the NPO flag, but how many can honestly say they know which flag is "custom 58" in the selection box unless they see what it looks like? If you can honestly say what flag is custom 58, without being a member of that alliance, chances are high that you cheated before you replied with your answer. They changed the rules later on. \m/ messaged admin, so they got to keep their flag. Though as Babyjesus said, that rule change wasn't made very clear. Asa, Custom 58 is TOP, and I didn't cheat. Arcadian Empire
Thanks again to everyone who wished me well! And I think flags should be kept to the sanctioned alliances - just my opinion - and for them to be kept as a memoir. I suppose I'll take update. Big shocks in the Biggest Gainer department, yes, I know, we have two biggest gainers! Oh yeah, and New Pacific Order somehow gained 0.23, along with Invicta. Not sure how NPO gained big, but if they start growing like that again consistently, let's start naming the next war. Revenge on Karma War, anyone? New Polar Order posted a nice gain too, of 0.20, and that sums up the big passes of today. To the losses, and Orange Defense Network loses 0.17, taking the award - but Monos Archein was very close today in almost tieing with them, with a loss of 0.16 - very close stuff. Other than that, like yesterday everyone else gained or lost ground inbetween the two extremes, but happily for most alliances, about 90% gained. Green Protection Agency finally passed The Democratic Order in a pass that was going to happen sooner or later with the two hovering around that 29.5 score mark. Speaking of hovering around scores, I'd suggest we look around where World Task Force, The Order Of Light and the New Pacific Order are - something tells me there is going to be a pass. Other than that, North Atlantic Defense Coalition is gobbled up by the Second Tier Barrier. Welcome to the Third Tier! Today's shoutout goes to all those who remembered to pinch and punch for the first day of the month (not sure if you still do that though). ---------- Related Links: Stats By Unspeakable Evil Tournament Edition Sanction Race How To Update the Amazing Sanction Race Sanction Race Update Creator spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pFd...rmXWQ&hl=en [/update]
