NSO is really good recruiters i heard :D

and i misread haf :P

Not really. NSO hasn't gained any of TDO members since their recruitment spree.

However a new alliance did break off and took with it some of our members. Maybe Fallen Fool is also right and that some members left after hiding from the Karma war, which is unfortunate, since we are not a bomb shelter. I cannot confirm this however. If you join TDO make sure you join for the right reasons.

With all due respect, I think this shows that you are. During a giant Planet Bob-wide war, nations who don't want their nations to be harmed can join you and will be safe for the entirety of the war. Isn't that true? Doesn't that make you a bomb shelter to some extent?

Just because TDO can function as a bomb shelter doesn't mean they intend to. I'm sure that if someone applied with the reason "looking to get out of the war, hide me till it's over," they would be rejected.

I think mentioning it is more of a joke than anything else.

What's with all the big nation deletions lately

Fun answer: Clearly an organized plot at the highest levels to remove large nations from power.

Right answer: Probably just summer. Summer's kind of a CN lull.

Commentary

Not a lot of stuff happening with our sanctioned alliances; the biggest bit of news is the tightening race between the Green Protection Agency and the Independent Republic of Orange Nations, with the two now separated by nearly half a point. Speaking of half a point, that's the amount that now separates the tenth-place New Pacific Order from the twelfth-place FOK, although the former should remain sanctioned for some time to come, if the Viridian Entente continues to show similar scores to today's into the future.

The Grämlins loses a quarter-point, allowing The Legion to once more move skyward, while Athens takes a dip towards Monos Archein. The Global Alliance And Treaty Organization passes Ragnarok, who finally managed to limit their steep losses today. That fact may not stop the Purple Menace, taking the form of Invicta and the United Purple Nations, from sniffing out some Aqua blood.

Today's shoutouts go to the Random Insanity Alliance, for their gain of a fifth of a point, and to TankKiller, whose math skills resulted in a similar loss for the North Atlantic Defense Coalition.

Good update, thanks.

Should be The Grämlins in the first line of commentary.

Not unless WTF gains 15 members and becomes eligible for sanctioning.
