No passes?! Yes, 'tis true unfortunately. But that didn't stop today from being quite entertaining. Huge gains ensured that there will be something to talk about today. But first thing's first, I must direct your attention to what's happening at the top'o'th'board where Sparta trails The Order of the Paradox by 0.01. Therefore, I suggest we watch out tomorrow for any developments on this because it seems that that situation could get quite interesting. The Viridian Entente gets today's biggest gainer with a 0.39 gain, although there were many other notable gains - so many that they deserve at least two entire paragraphs. The Legion got the 2nd highest gain today with a whopping 0.35 gain, perhaps keeping up the pressure on VE as they attempt a pass? Who knows. Mushroom Kingdom sneaks in with a 0.26 gain ensuring they keep space between themselves and Athens, whose growth appears to have slowed. Green Protection Agency got fourth highest with a 0.24 gain, while in fifth place we have two alliances - New Polar Order and Orange Defense Network both posting 0.21 gains. The large gain by Orange Defense Network ensures they are in for a little bit of a tussle with The Democratic Order just 0.07 away. Independent Republic of Orange Nations and Umbrella both attained a 0.20 gain, and now the other alliances who posted "notable gains" (defined as at least a +0.10 gain) are: Sparta, The Democratic Order, Athens and Invicta. Losses were less prevalent, with RnR taking out the award with a 0.19 loss. Although, there were several alliances that were close to take the award for themselves. These alliances were Mostly Harmless Alliance who lost 0.18, M*A*S*H lost 0.16 after losing one member, and to a lesser extent the New Pacific Order who loses 0.11. For those shouting New Pacific Order will lose sanction, here's a nifty fact. They need to lose a further 3.78 to lose sanction, depending on how Viridian Entente grows. But the faster they grow, the less the former-number one needs to lose their sanction. Today's shoutout goes to The Order of Light who attains a score which is memorable for fans who watched a particular movie. Their score is 25.25, the first person to guess why this number is significant, and in what movie it appeared in, wins! Also, a semi-shoutout to the alliance who is now multi-coloured... literally. We're 65% blue; we're blue on the Sanction Race, and will remain so.
