Gopherbashi
Team Tour So in honour of the Tour de France this month, I figured that I'd experiment with a more team-based stats race. For each of the twelve teams I took the five top alliances, and will track every day both individual- and team-based results. At the end of July, we can hand out "awards" to the best-ranking individual alliances and teams in the race. Perhaps you can get the idea better by looking at the spreadsheet here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=ryo...BQNiw&hl=en (I only took the alliances that had 1/5 of the Add Line, so both red and pink only have three alliances each). Elapsed results show everyone's distance behind the leader. And since I don't feel like listing 56 alliances and 12 teams, the results are somewhat summarized. Full results at the spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=ryo...BQNiw&hl=en Individual Stage Results 1. Silence (+0.39) 2. FIRE (+0.30) 3. The Legion (+0.16) 4. We Are Perth Army (+0.14) 5. Sparta (+0.13) ... 56. FOK (-0.49) Team Stage Results 1. Brown (+0.47) t2. Black (+0.13) t2. Green (+0.13) ... 12. Orange (-0.48) Individual Elapsed Results 1. Silence @ 0.39 2. FIRE -0.09 3. The Legion -0.23 4. We Are Perth Army -0.25 5. Sparta -0.26 ... 56. FOK -0.88 Team Elapsed Results 1. Brown @ 0.47 t2. Black -0.34 t2. Green -0.34 ... 12. Orange -0.95 Edited July 3, 2009 by Gopherbashi
Trinite
It took me longer than it should have to realize what exactly was going on. I think I've figured it out, and I like it. You're awesome.
Gopherbashi
Yeah, I tend to over-complicate things. :/ Basically, I'm tracking each team's score change by looking only at their top five alliances. So you get to cheer for your team AND your alliance.
bakamitai
Yes, I missed Athens. Because I bookmark all the alliance pages for faster loading, and when I went to the fourth page of the alliance list, Athens was already gone. Speedy buggers moved up to the very top of the third page, which is why I missed them. Bookmark added, they'll be in future updates.
dragonknight1000
nice update (and damn Athens, easy on the steroids, take too much and you'd catch some bad side effects later) btw, I never thought I'd say this while being w/ TOOL but..... here we come, NPO (god, that felt great, no offense- good luck to getting peace anyway) Edited July 3, 2009 by dragonknight1000

Haflinger
This is going to be an interesting race invicta. First one to hit 17 score wins? heh We'll see where our score is in 20 days. Meanwhile all my FA slots are in use. Woo. 40 items per page for the win. Sylar
No U Legion. Also, I'll take the small loss after what we've had earlier this week. We passed RoK momentous day in cyber history. only problem is if you guys get half the reps you asked of NPO you will shoot past us lol

I believe it's under Main Menu -----> My Profile ----> and you can set views per page to 40. It makes for a bit nicer display I think. Tarikmo
Athens is ripe for a sanctioning, only 8 points away, and there is still roughly 3 points left at the Dark Evolution AA. I say by the end of the year, if not sooner, Athens should be sanctioned.

The Legion has now gotten an official numbered rank! Athens continues to define the word "exponential" with a further gain of 14 members and an entire point gain, who allows them to take the honours of biggest gainer. Sparta continues their quest to take down The Order of the Paradox at the TOP, and with a gain like that (+0.29), it's not that far away. Only 0.53 to go! Mostly Harmless Alliance gains 0.11 despite apparently not gaining or losing any members, and it appears the New Polar Order also caught this 'disease' if it can be called that, but with a more severe form gaining 0.15. In fact, most of the Sanctioned Alliances had a good day today, Orange Defense Network included who gained 0.13. Below the line, World Task Force got a nice gain of 0.27, also breaking the 23 point mark. It just makes you ponder if they'll be able to get the 23 members needed to be Sanctionable. Monos Archein gained 0.17, and narrows the gap between them and the next alliance up, Mushroom Kingdom who lost 0.20. The Democratic Order dropped to a neat 33 points, although losing 0.24 in the process, but that was not as bad as FOK who managed to drop over twice that, losing a whopping 0.53! Shifting the Add and Drop Lines down, it is a miracle no other alliance was able to take advantage of the 0.26 drop down from the lines. The Grämlins fell 0.21, Ragnarok fell 0.30 (who surrenders their 14th place) and in the other notable losses Siberian Tiger Alliance and RnR both had losses of 0.14. Passes were low despite the erratic bipolar movements, from the +1.00 gains to the -0.53 losses. The Legion gained the 14th place after passing Ragnarok in the highest profile pass of the day. Athens one point gain only allowed a pass of two alliances, and the further up they go, despite huge gains such as those, passes will become less often (think Sparta pre-war, they were on 50, IRON was on 70). In the other passes, Global Alliance And Treaty Organization took advantage of a small drop from Invicta, with Umbrella doing the same to Siberian Tiger Alliance. I did have half a mind to post this entirely in purple, but I decided against it partly because I feel that you too can experience the horror/delight at having half the alliances in the commentary as aqua alliances. ---------- Related Links: Stats By Unspeakable Evil Tournament Edition Sanction Race How To Update the Amazing Sanction Race Sanction Race Update Creator spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pFd...rmXWQ&hl=en [/update]
