First, the large gainers. The daily winner is Sparta with over a third of a point, but they weren't the only big mover today. The Grämlins are up over a quarter point. Mushroom Kingdom gained almost a fifth with Monos Archein, hot on their heels, making the only alliance pass of the day. Mostly Harmless Alliance are up "only" 0.14, but their whopping 12 new members catapult them over the 700 member mark. The Order of Light are also up nearly a fifth point, which is bad news for Greenland Republic, whose modest gain couldn't outpace the Drop Line. In fact, the region between the Add Line and the Drop Line is now a barren wasteland, devoid of both the up-and-coming alliances, and those who have seen better days. Now for the losers. New Pacific Order lost 0.35 and seven members. Ragnarok dropped almost as much, widening the gap between the #13 and #14 runners-up substantially, giving Viridian Entente over a point and a half advantage. Nueva Vida lost a quarter point today, giving Global Alliance And Treaty Organization some breathing room. With this kind of bloodshed, Orange Defense Network's drop of only 0.11 looks tame by comparison. You'll notice I've left a number of gaps in the chart. After reflection, I've decided to leave a space any time there is more than a 1.25 point gap between non-sanctioned alliances. Hopefully, this will provide a striking visual representation of the actual distance between sparring alliances, and focus everyone on their next score objective. ---------- Related Links: Stats By Unspeakable Evil Tournament Edition Sanction Race How To Update the Amazing Sanction Race Sanction Race Update Creator spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pFd...rmXWQ&hl=en [/update]

bakamitai
Also, I call shenanigans on the eight-minute update. OK fine. I did a test update about an hour ahead of time to get the general trends. That let me write the bulk of the commentary. I did actually collect final stats at 8:53 CN, and made a few minor tweaks to the comments. In particular, Rok gained 0.01 in that time, so they were no longer tied with NPO for biggest loser. Kaiser
I like the gaps thing. You should apply it to sanctioned alliances as well.
Great Lord Moth
The Add/Drop lines have a loooooooong way to go once the NPO is last among the sanctioned. VE is next in line for sanction, so the add line is gonna easily fall below 12, provided VE makes no great leaps and bounds from here. Arcadian Empire
So that's why the 15 was removed... next time make a note in the commentary so it doesn't look as discreet
pacers7isback
It got added in by Gopher ('s program?) and wasn't mentioned in commentary when it was added. You were the only one who copied it before it was corrected to how it traditionally has been. Edited June 29, 2009 by pacers7isback
