Immediately below the arbitrary number of alliances I chose earlier, though, we have slightly more negative results. The Viridian Entente and The Phoenix Federation both broke even on the day, and FOK dropped a significant amount of score for the second day running; but their 0.11 drop was the worst today's race would see. After The Grämlins, who suffered an inconsequential loss that has nothing to do with the recent changes they've made to their foreign policy (unnecessary reference, check!), every alliance gained some amount of score until M*A*S*H gained score, and only they and The Legion made any negative changes. The Democratic Order must have been swayed by my heart-touching words in yesterday's commentary, taking them to heart; they jumped 0.15. And in a seemingly now-typical move, The Dark Evolution lit their reserve boosters (of which they have many) and skyrocketed more than a quarter-point. In doing so, they passed the Random Insanity Alliance - who I expect to teleport to thirty score tomorrow -- and now loom close behind the Mushroom Kingdom. Will their terms end quickly enough to fight against this new-found foe? A special mention should be given to the Greenland Republic, who reached 200 members at about the time of update; I'm happy to be the first to release them from the italic shackles and release them into a new race - a race where, if we counted all the positions after 14th for a sanction, they'd be 21st. Just thinking of how recently they first graced this Sanction Race makes my eyes water...you're growing so fast! Ahem...sorry. The Legion can't shake the novelty of their recently acquired score and returned to it today, allowing the goal-oriented North Atlantic Defense Coalition to pass them once again; but considering the instability of the lower Race, things can change very easily. Case in point: Nueva Vida, who have leveled off from their recent nose-dive and are posting positive gains once more. Perhaps you could lend some encouragement to NATO who, while gaining in small increments, aren't making leaps great enough to escape the ever-approaching grip of the dastardly Add Line (which today is bolded for a more menacing appearance!). Finally, I have a shoutout for Bob: You know what happens when you assume!
