Vogelkop, Grand Papua

The Chinese had been able to exterminate all other ethnic groups in the region during their months-long rebellion. Granted, there were not many to begin with, given the notoriety of the past criminal actions of these people who so accepted the teachings of Yuan Jia, but it certainly was unexpected that the hypocrites would not mention anything about the neo-nazi genocidal behaviors of the Chinese. But then, just as hegemonists are blind to the wrongs they commit, perhaps the same was happening here.

However, this could not go on much longer. If the Socialist Republic did not put down this once and for all, it would only be a repeat of the past. Once the current plans where completed, they it will be time to end the yellow menace once and for all.

However, things would not go according to plan, as they are bound to.....

"Are you insane, Tseng? What will that accomplish!"

"Calm down, Singh. It's all for the better good of us Asians. We need to root out the evils for the glory of the Middle Kingdom." said the leader of the Chinese rebels, President Tseng.

The General looked at him in disbelief. "Where did you get those? They're enough to kill of an entire continent! What kind of connections did you use for this?"

"Just some dealer in a brown uniform. Does it matter, Manh Li? We're finally able to accomplish what the Kamborian movement had failed in!"

"No, I will not take part in such lunacy, on the level with the nazis. Don't expect any support from my forces." With that, General Singh Manh Li left the room. In the near future, he would be found somewhere else, as an owner of a PMC.

Tseng just shrugged the loss support off and went to his bunker. He gave the order.

"Ready the missiles."

"Fire."

From all over Vogelkop, hundreds of missiles would be launched, descending on important parts of New Guinea. Soon, Grand Papua would be facing its greatest threat yet, greater than the German invasion, greater than the threat from the hypocrites to the north: extermination.

One last message would be sent to Oceanic Union, asking for help. The message would be cut off in the middle.

Airborne in an A400M, approaching Grand Papau

"Alright, listen up!" Lieutenant II Reyno Centeno shouted over the roar of the transport plane's engines. "Earlier today, SelCom started picking up strange chatter out of Grand Papua. Not long afterwards, neo-asiatic supremacists began heating things up, concluding with a massive missile barrage launched from the heart of West Papua and there hasn't been much out of Grand Papua since. We're jumping into Sorong on the far north west coast of Grand Papua. F35s are on station if we need 'em for a while yet, but their fuel's limited and the Predators launching out of Manila won't be on station for another hour or two at least. Intel warns that the neo-asiatics's missiles may have carried gas, so check your seals and check your masks: no one leaks, everyone lives. First Mechanized! First Division in, First Division to fight!"

"OOH-RAH!" shouted back 68 soldiers of the 1st Mechanized Division of Selenarctos.

"Sixty seconds to the drop point," the pilot called over their radio. "Opening the rear door now."

"You heard the Lieutenant," the sergeant at the rear of the plane rose, grabbing a handle hanging from the ceiling with one hand and adjusting his pulse rifle with the other. "Two lines, left jump, right jump, left, right, you know the drill! See you on the ground!"

2O37 Strategic Bomber, West Papua

"Estratehiko Bombero calling Davao Control, out," Major Godoy Carrión radioed from the cockpit of the 2O37 bomber, one of twelve launched just under an hour ago from the Davao City Primary Air Force Base; the entire 440th Strategic Squadron plus a half dozen F22s escorting them.

"Davao City Control here, Major. We read you above Imbikwan Pung, 200 kilometers out from your objective, please confirm."

"We show the same, altitude fourteen thousand meters. Requesting authorization to release the payload."

"440th Strategic, you are weapons free. Proceed with your designated targets."

"Roger that Control," Major Carrión glanced down at the panels in front of him, flipping a line of switches. "Opening the bay doors."

Though he could hear no difference, he knew below and behind him his plane's deadly payload was revealed to the world, the open doors of his plane and those of the rest of his squadron lighting up on every radar pointed in their direction. Only for a moment though, but a moment was enough. Twelve planes spouted forth dozens of missiles, medium ranged each starting faster than the speed of sound and accelerating further still as they flew toward their pre-programed targets: the sites that had so recently sent forth their own deadly missiles aimed at the Papuan people.

The bombers and their escorts would turn back to Davao city, but the missiles flew on. Rushing past the air transports laden with paratroopers bound to investigate the silent cities of western Grand Papua, high above the jungles and hills before they descend to spread fire and steal amongst mountains and the murderous men within.

[Private; classified]

The interim government of the United States of Oceanesia, the USO Congress, was fully absorbed in its present tasks of trying to get a constitution agreed to by its diverse states as well as prepare for the first federal elections, and was naturally extremely busy - the news of the situation in Grand Papua, which neighbours its two states of North Maluku and South Maluku, came as a shock.

Immediately Congress would send requests to the interim Governors of North and South Maluku to raise Militias under federal guidelines and to have them both secure the eastern borders of the said states, as well as send peacekeeping and security troops to Grand Papua as requested. A message would be sent to the remnants of Grand Papua's government notifying them of the action.

75,000 troops from each state would pour into the western areas of Grand Papua - making major incursions into West Papua, and attempt to quell the ongoing situation...

Missiles. Death. Blood. Gore. Broken bones. Missing limbs.

All these words were flowing in minds Papuans within the region of the strike, and elsewhere. Yet, when it came down to it, all these words meant the same thing, and boiled down to anarchy and disorder. The state was no more. There was no unity, fraternity, brother-ship, it was now a free-for-all struggle of life and death, living from one moment to the next.

Yet, there were some who dared to challenge that, no, they wished to challenge it. These individuals wished for a stable and secure life, for them and their families, or at least, the few who remained. Racial tensions, politics, that was all meaningless now. Life was precious and fleeting, something that was always irreplaceable and lost all too quickly was what they wished to preserve, at all costs. Now, with foreign military intervention a certainty, preserving it would certainly prove to become even more difficult in the near future.

These individuals, these survivors, no more than twelve thousand total, have banded together to fight for this cause, to fight for life. While their cause is simplistic, and perhaps childish, it is what has made their group as strong as it is. Drawing from both men and women, civilians, former military, PMC deserters, and many others, it is certainly a varied partially incoherent group.

Forged by suffering and sadness, the fledgling group calls itself the Papuan Stabilization Brigade, hoping for a better tomorrow.

Downtown Sorong

"Area clear," Private I Abreu whispered into his radio.

"Thank you Private. All squads, keep moving forward," Lieutenant II Reyno Centeno radioed back, his voice barely a whisper as well.

The city was full of whipsers. The whisper of the wind, the whisper of the sea amongst the buildings and the whisper of the dead; all around them the dead. They'd touched down in a park without so much as a sprained ankle, a good start for his command's first combat drop but a scene out of a nightmare or cheap horror flick greeted his men. The missiles picked up by SelCom's radar had carried gas, there was no doubt about that, and the gas had transformed Sorong into a city of the dead.

They'd traversed the city for an hour without seeing a living soul anywhere. Breath rasping against their gas masks's air filters, they crossed alley and boulevard and everywhere the faces of the dead stared blankly from where they'd fallen. Men, women, children, all dead. The lucky ones had died quickly, perhaps even peacefully to judge from their relaxed faces. The others, though... The ones who clawed bloody marks into their throats and faces as they died in agony. The drivers who swerved to avoid pedestrians falling into the street, only to fall or lose control seconds later as the lethal gas found its way in through the welcoming intake of an airconditioner or open window.

The city lay silent save for the whispers, the birds fallen from the sky next to the bodies of humans so fresh the flies had not even found them.

"How many people lived here?" Centeno's first Sergeant whispered into his radio. Street after street they passed through, from a residential neighborhood outside their Landing Zome to the commercial districkt Private Abreu just proclaimed clear.

"I don't know. Too many," Centeno murmered. Ten thousand? Twenty? A hundred? In the end, did it really matter? One man's death was a tragedy, a hundred thousand was a statistic. Too many to comprehend, too many to bury, too many to even think about. Keep your mask on, keep your SCU sealed, keep moving on. Stay in one place too long and the dead begin to haunt you, to penetrate your thoughts, to whisper to you.

The power was out through most of the city, only the occasional car still running and the stoplights flashing red as they hung from their thin wires above the streets. SelCom said there hadn't been any EMP weapons, no nuclear warheads, just the gas and the missiles and their wake of death among an otherwise undamaged city. Maybe the power shut off as a safety feature, when those in control of it died of the gas as well. Or maybe the power plant had been blown away by a missile; the Predator drones overhead probably knew, and SelCom as well if the Predators didm but the radio link to Manila had more important uses and a power plant hardly mattered on the larger scale.

"Next block clear."

"Proceed, shout if you find any survivers." No one thought they would. No one laughed either. No one said anything at all.

Following the reports of the initial 400 paratroopers, an additional 8,000 soldiers of the 6th Mechanized Division would be shipped into Grand Papua. Although a handful of F22s maintained combat patrols and the 1st Naval Task Force moved into support range, the focus of the mission had shifted to search and recovery. The Selenarctos White Cross dispatched a hospital ship to join the 1st Naval Task Force offshore. The few patients who could be treated were to the doctor's best ability, but in the face of such devastating such efforts almost seemed futile. On the ground, soldiers provided what assistance they could and supported the remaining Grand Papuan authorities in the less affected areas. The only positive was that the 440th's initial bombing seemed to work; no resistance had been encountered by those responsible for the missile attack.

"What's the situation like above?"

"There seems to be quite a few survivors with some of them calling themselves Chinese."

"They're fake mongrels. Prepare the weapons for both extermination and communication denial."

Another round of fifty-one missiles were fired from the deep forests of the Bird's Head Peninsula. This time, the target were the mongrels who dared claimed themselves as Chinese.

Grand Papua had been a highly segregated society against only ethnic group: The Chinese. This was the result of the glorious Kamborian Revolution by the forefathers against the foreign barbarians that had dared violate this island. The revolution unfortunately failed, and thus the Chinese had been pushed into the Bird's Head Peninsula, as a way of preventing a general insurrection. All this had been accomplished before the founding of Grand Papua, but the Chinese never forgot, and prepared for the day they would rise again.

The missiles contained large amounts of cyclosarin and hydrogen cyanide, enough to completely wipe out entire segments of the island. The plan was to saturate the various centers of urban power in order to eliminate all possible challenges to the rise of the pure Han Chinese, especially the so-called Chinese Papua New Guinea Freedom Front. There were the Oceanic Union invaders, but they will be dealt with later, using more powerful means. As the missiles were flying also, there was also one special warhead. It would explode with a tremendous nuclear blast, knocking out all communication facilities capable of having international messages sent. This was to prevent any asking of help from more foreign invaders.

There were only one true Chinese in New Guinea: The Heirs of the Kamborian Revolution. All others were fakes at best and mongrels at worst. It is only rightful that they be exterminated once and for all.

The missiles crash their way down onto groups of civilians who up until that point were peacefully protesting against the hegemony of the foreign tyranny that had oppressed them. Entire groups are slaughtered as the missiles wreak their deadly havoc on the Chinese protestors and where 10 are killed, 10 more step up to fill their shoes. The genocidal overlords of Grand Papua will not find these Chinese to go meekly into the night under the rain of tyranny and oppression.

The images of unarmed protestors being killed by the thousands are beamed around the world to expose the terrorism of those who previously claimed to be fighting terrorism. The irony of the situation is staggering given the former position the Grand Papuan government took in Africa. While the protestors aren't at all deterred for their thirst for equality and justice.

While the majority are content to remain peaceful, there are those who have access to weapons of their own. They begin quietly collecting them and preparing to defend themselves against the true perpetrators of tyranny and genocide on the island of of Papua New Guinea.

The shock and horror of the chemical attack on the Chinese stuns large portions of the other ethnic groups of the islands. Soon, thousands more of all walks of life begin flooding the standard of what becomes the Grand Papua Liberation Front as riots and protests explode across Grand Papua in objection to the slaughter of civilians peacefully marching in the streets.

In a frantic escapade, a handful of Brigade members attempt to broadcast a message via radio and satellite internet, in desperation. "This is the Papuan Stabilization Brigade, this side of the island was just struck by unknown chemical weaponry, requesting immediate humanitarian assi-" the message immediately cut off, due to the second impact. Though, it was likely for the better, for if those on the other end could hear, they would hear the screams and slow, painful, death of the Brigade members present. The gasps for air, the nails on the wall, the desperation, were horrors no person should have to face in their lifetime...

While the Brigade would lose a good half of it's initial membership in the blasts, it would rise to over one hundred and fifty three thousand overnight; refugees and survivors from all over, some who now have nothing left in their lives, except the will to fight on. As their assailants kept attacking population centers, the Brigade would unfortunately increase in size and ability. This would mark the beginning of the end.

The images of the Chinese Papua New Guinea Freedom Front would never reach anywhere, with the complete shutdown of all communication systems west of the Bird's Head Peninsula. Still, it seems the worms were still trying to defy the inevitable. It seems a more permanent solution would be needed. With this, twenty missiles with VX were launched, and they would cover all of coastal Papua New Guinea with enough VX to keep the entire region lifeless for months. If laying waste to Papua New Guinea was necessary to achieve victory, so be it.

At the same time, communications were sent to the Oceanic Union, stating one simple message:
The Heirs of the Kamborian revolution claims all of New Guinea for the Great Chinese Nation. Do not attempt to intervene, and remove your current forces. Otherwise, great destruction shall come to your nations or those that help the suppressors.
Proclamation from the Reichskanzler of the Greater Germanic Reich

Fascism and Racism. Those are two corrupt ideals facing our world at this time. Today, Germania intercepted a radio transmission from citizens in Grand Papua. Before the transmission was completed, it ended. Afterwards, a large nuclear explosion was detected over Grand Papua. We, as a civilized people, can't allow these tyrannic ideals to continue; these same tyrannic ideals that destroyed Berlin and Regensburg. As we pledged to the Chinese, "We will stand together to fight the neo-nazi forces in Grand Papua, and we will give it the scorn that it deserves."

Today, we move to bring that promise to reality. To the people of Grand Papua, you are not alone. The people of Greater Germany stand with you.

Today, you are free.

Signed,
Reichskanzler of the Greater Germanic Reich

Among the spreading area of death from VX, some 40,000 of the Chinese troops who had started the insurrection had moved into the regions of the supposed Grand Papua Liberation Front. It was pathetic, these supposed freedom fighters accepting all who pledge to fight the supposed Neo-Nazis. Didn't they know that the Front were themselves the very enemy they claimed to be fighting? Of course, the world at large were also pathetic, ignoring what the people on the ground, the Oceanic Union, knew. But then, in their conspiracy to rule the world, isn't it only true that they would close their ears to reality for fantasy? That fantasy was about to end, as the Kamborian heirs gain control of more than 70% of the interior of the country, with only the mainland coastal regions of Papua New Guinea under the Liberation Front and the Stabilization Brigade.

As supposed members of the Liberation Front, the Chinese special forces quietly kidnapped ethnic Papuans and Slavics, and proceeded to murder them in the most violent methods, the blood splattering the walls of a small hideout. Citizens of Selenactos, Australia, and Oceanesia were among the victims. The mutilated heads would be delivered to the headquarters of the Oceanesian troops who were in firm control of West Papua, along with a video tape of the killings.

Time to destroy the internal enemies, before eliminating the external ones.

Operation Enduring Justice: New Guinea Theatre

Moving out of its hiding in the Palau Trench, the SSGN Just Spear surfaced from its depth. Unloading its arsenal of cruise missiles from 400 miles offshore, it would launch 182 low observable cruise missiles equipped with bunker busting warheads for command and control, and bomblets against larger radar sites located on the Birds Eye Penninsula.

Rapidly following on the attack 12 B-10 bombers would surge from Taiwan across the Western Pacific, unleashing a strike package of 192 ER-M-51 hypersonic cruise missiles against various anti-ship batteries and radar sites as well as satellite uplink and satellite control systems on the Birds Eye. This was followed on by a strike of 6 B-11 bombers fully loaded out with stand off munitions to crater air bases in the area and follow on with mass deployment of unexploded mines and bomblets to deny the area for repair crews.

Global Space command would be ordered to begin engaging enemy satellites with direct ascent ASATs as they passed within orbital range. Of particular targeting were imagery and SAR satellites who would have to pass over antarctic, or Tianxia controlled Pacific Waters as they moved around in their orbits.

Rapidly following on the attack would be four squadrons of F-5 fighters launched out of Palau. The fighters would make the first wave sweep in. Supporting them were EWAC and AWAC drones whose sensors would sweep the area as well as sniff for enemy signals, while the F-5s would link with them using the unmanned aircrafts signals to avoid deploying their own.

As these forces swept the area for aircraft, a follow on waves of 48 A-47 drones would deploy in using synthetic aperture radar to sweep the penninsula for mobile TELs and missile launchers. This would be supplemented by all units synthetic elector-optical targeting systems which would enable all eyes in the skies to near instantly detect a missile launch and engage it.

Following on this attack, 60 F-6s would fly in over the area carrying external stores of small diameter bombs and fuel would be synchronized to come in from the Marianas. With electronic suppression of enemy IADs they were use the small diameter bombs to engage movements of enemy troops with interdiction missions as well as engage enemy SAM that would fire in the area.

6 B-9 Bombers would be last inline in the attack force, launching out of the Ryukyu's the large stealth bombers would be used to fly high altitude support missions against the direct conflict line. Targeting the tip of the spear which was engaging the enemy liberation front, the units would unleash 840 small diameter bombs against targets which had confirmed enemy presence on them effectively denying these Kamborians the ability to form a coherent line of attack against the Liberation front.

While the news of immanent worldwide support would be something greatly welcomed by the Stabilization Brigade, due to the nuclear detonation, they were unable to both receive and send messages to the outside world. Once foreign forces would come in contact with the Brigade, they would find an odd mix of people, both young and old, welcoming them with open arms and tears in their eyes.

However, now was not the time for self-pity or mourning, it was time for war. Due to the continued attacks on civilians, the Brigade's forces swelled up in size, now growing to over a million troops, most of them untrained civilians without anywhere else to go. They would begin to raid armories and any sort of weapon they could get their hands on to arm themselves. To the average trooper, having pistol with a few magazines worth of ammunition constituted being well armed; the army was more akin to a swarm of Soviet conscripts than a true fighting force.

However, manpower was not their only weapon, excavations and searches throughout Brigade territory would result in the discovery, rearmament, and successful co-opting of dozens of Grand Papuan nuclear missiles. These would be useful later on, if the enemy had any fortified bunkers or large amounts of armored vehicles. In these deposits a few armored vehicles would be found, but hardly enough to constitute a few brigades worth, let alone an entire division. Hastily, Stabilization forces began to mobilize and prepare to strike east, into Kamborian territory.

The nuclear detonation had not killed all access to the outside world, to suggest such would be extreme wishful thinking on the part of those who committed the foul deed. This wishful thinking would be their downfall as intelligence and requests for aid are funneled out to Tianxia. With enemies of freedom moving against the Chinese Papua New Guinea Liberation Front and the Grand Papua Liberation Front, fighting quickly would break out. Where 40,000 men moved, a response of 30,000 would be found.

A counter-salvo of 50 FAE armed missiles are launched at the attacking fascist terrorist forces. While this occurs the civilians who survived the attack are evacuated to the countryside. The 30,000 men who stand against the forces of poor scripted terror are joined by their Grand Papua brethren who use their own resources to snipe, bomb, attack with knives, and harass the 40,000 vicious war criminals who are a threat to all humanity advance on the Chinese Nationalist heroes who stand against the terrorist scum.

The offers of assistance are heard and replied to with requests for medical aid, weapons, and food. A specific request in the form of intelligence and precisions strikes is sent. The thinking being that the leadership of the terrorist parties in Papua New Guinea are an excellent target for elimination in the hopes of crippling the terrorists and creating division and disunity within their ranks.

On behalf of Selenarctos and the Oceanic Union, we thank the world for its support to assure the stability of Grand Papua in face of this calamity. We must ask, however, that the Eurpoean nations mobilizing at the present time, and any African nations or nations of the Americas who wish to do likewise to remain out of the conflict. To the Greater Germanic Reich who so recently initiated hostilities against and attempted to invade Grand Papua, your help is not welcome. To the others, there are four nations currently involved including Selenarctos, Tianxia, Australia, and Oceanesia, and we do not wish to overcomplicate the situation by pulling a coalition out of the air whose soldiers and armed forces have not worked together before.

Once again, we thank you for your support and please accept our assurances that everything in our power will be done both to halt the course of this autrocity and bring justice to those responsible.

The additional gas missiles came as a surpirse to the elements 1st and 7th Mechanized Divisions in Grand Papua. With the active threat of chemical weaponry, Selenarctos Command moved to DEFCON 1 and moved the nation's defense forces to High Alert. On the ground in Grand Papua, the soldiers present were still operating under hostile environment conditions and initial casualties were few, the result of carelessness or poor suit maintanence. The Army would also begin to move another 4,000 soldiers from the 1st Mechanized to Grand Papua. Flying past the coast line where the 8th Mechanized was being issued heavy EMP-shielded radios to supplement their SCU radios, these soldiers of the 1st Mechanized specialized in jungle warfare would land inland and take the fight to the Kamborian Revolution anywhere they chose to show their face.

The nuclear blast also surprised SelCom, who had not believed the Chinese Supremecists had obtained nuclear weapons yet. From southern Selenarctos, continous 2O37 bomber raids would begin to drop bunker-penetrating munitions on nuclear weapon caches known through the Oceanic Union's intelligence sharing clauses, as well as to target areas of Kamborian military movements, with special focus given to identified missiles. Finally, smaller guided munitions were targetted at the fiber channels that had linked the county before the nuclear blast and the numberous radio broadcasts emminating from Kamborian revolutionaries and chinese-papuans alike. News would be released, but not by anyone and their mother with a camera.

Unfortunately appeasement and inaction is no longer an option. Technical objections about integrating a coalition ring hollow as Tianxia units can fight seamless with Athenian Units an near seamlessly with German Units. We have maximal technological interoperability.

Further, you vastly underestimate the lateness of the political hour. We've stood by while the intolerance, hostility, racism and general bigotry was practiced by Grand Papua. We've given multiple times our concern with the trajectory of the regime. Negotiation time has run out. Athens, Tianxia, and Germany have all just taken nukes because of extremists. Grand Papua lays barren because of extremists. The petri-dish of all this extremism has been right here under your noses.

There is really no longer any option for the world not to be involved in this mess. I'm sorry but its time to recognize the obvious. The Oceanic Union failed to house clean its own back yard. You've stood by allowing far rightists to fester for the sake of what? Some abstract notion of criminal sovereignty that is ultimately meaningless.

Grand Papua was a regime made up of war criminals. That it has continued to behave in this matter driving itself into the ground is of little surprise. Its leadership has no respect for human dignity. Its a cancer. People can cooperate in removing that cancer, or we can do this the other way. We're prepared for either. The days of appeasement are gone for good as should have been made obvious by the previous dispatch we're very much prepared for any eventuality and our decision makers have made the irreversible decision the cost of inaction has become too high. This is where the world is, what you do is now up to you.

The days of appeasement are gone for good as should have been made obvious by the previous dispatch we're very much prepared for any eventuality and our decision makers have made the irreversible decision the cost of inaction has become too high. This is where the world is, what you do is now up to you.

Once we though highly of the Tianxian intelligence services, but perhaps we we wrong to do so. Your own words name the Grand Papua government the perpetrator of this crime and falsely condemn them for mass murder. Our allies, the former government of Grand Papua have been wiped out by radicals of your own race. The Grand Papuan people were not extremists, however. Their government was not genocidal, and they are not a mess to be swept under the carpet. The state of Grand Papua is no more, but her people are still there.

It is understandable that you would wish to work with troops you have trained with, however the almost 300,000 soldiers currently on the ground from Selenarctos, Australia, and Oceanesia are not integrated with those of your European allies. We believe our position on Germany is quite clear. Once again however, it would hurt our own efficiency to attempt to integrate with others we are not already set up to work with.

As for the political hour, we are well aware of the missiles raining so close to our own southern borders. If you wish to speak of the political hour and the horror wrought by extremists then please return to Europe. The wars of Europe do not concern us and never have, but under no circumstances shall we allow the Oceanic people shall not suffer for those who died in your war on the other side of the world. You speak of petri-dishes and a cancer growing here, and of nuclear attacks against your homeland but it was not the Papuan who bombed you. It was not the people of Grand Papua who attacked you, nor did they attack Germany, nor Athens, nor did the Grand Papuan people appear in Europe at all. In Grand Papua, it was a small group of radical extremists who attacked their own homeland, yes, and we offer to let Tianxia assist to ensure those responsible stand trail as soon as possible, but not at the cost of the Papuan sovereignty. We would be happy to receive your assistance, but veiled threats and vengeance have no place here.
