TheShammySocialist
Public Statement "In the interests of strengthening its alliance and economic ties with the Tanzanian Federation, the Swedish Commission of International Affairs and Trade announces an investment package to help strengthen the economy of our southern allies. These investments will primarily go into Tanzanian government-funded infrastructure projects including the improvement of roads, ports, railroads, as well as the utilities grid in Tanzania. We appreciate the economic benefits that we have already enjoyed with the Tanzanian Federation, and hope that this investment package will further enhance the commerce between our two countries. With this investment package, we hope to continue to set a strong standard for the conducting of business between Europe and Africa, two continents whose histories could be much better than they are. Worth an estimated four billion SEK, the primary benefactors of this investment project are private investment, and we commend Volvo, Saab Conglomerates, Husqvarna, Karlskrona AB, ScanCOMM, and Nordlands Holdings for their support of Tanzania. VigilantWatcher
Classified Morogoro Top Secret Military Facility now completed, with all of the underground testing areas, warehouses and laboratories now operational.
Directive #001: Biological Warfare Programme Security Level Black This programme will be to develop a small stockpile of Biological Munitions plus ways to effectively defend the Tanzania Federation from a biological attack from a foreign nation or terrorist organisation.
Meanwhile the half mile shaft which had been placed in the surface testing area had been completed. The device had been placed and the countdown had begun. At twelve fifteen am local time the device detonated. The device uses large amounts of fusion to induce fission in the uranium-238 atoms that make up depleted uranium. The weapon had a fissile core surrounded by a layer of lithium-6 deuteride, in turn surrounded by a layer of depleted uranium. This produces a four hundred kiloton yield, completely collapsing the shaft and venting the blast up to the surface. However the radiation would be contained with only highly pressurised gas being released. The explosion would also produce a small earthquake which caused a secondary collapse around the shaft, forming a small crater. This test was deemed a success, despite the failure of the shaft.
