Lynneth
"Many nations in South America have risen from the ashes. They may, however, not last forever. It is thus that we announce the Paramaribo dictate: Any territory that was part of Guyana's protectorate, but is now part of a sovereign nation, shall become part of the protectorate once more in the event of the nation falling. For example: Should the Grand Principality of Vicidalia fall into anarchy, all their former lands will be considered part of Guyana's protectorate once more until a new sovereign nation can establish itself. Rebel Army has a similar arrangement in Africa, as you might know, and we have decided to emulate this successful policy. Thank you." Laura Leclerc, Speaker of the Republic
Evangeline Anovilis
Seeing this, Lieselotte de Nouvelle-Beziérs, Senechal of Vicidalia went on a small rampage in her office. "It's all those communists fault for us to look weak. Now they acomplished it!" With some thought, she sat down on the desk, took up her phone and dialed the number of the Vicis (Vicidalian Central Information Service, Vicidalian secret police). "Get me a meeting with my sister. We need to discuss some matters. And I hope you're done soon with the protests in the west. If not, I can assure you, you won't be in office for long." Shadowsage
The Winter Contingency rejects the notion of a Guyana protectorate on the whole of former Imperial territory. Instead we will recognize the legitimacy of a protectorate only if managed by all South American Nations.

Let it be noted, however, that from Guyana's protectorate, six nations have already risen and thrown off the devastation your predecessor brought upon their homes. We do not believe you can demand much in this regard."
