So i save up for 7 days, preparing for the +5 population happiness bonus (I was intending to save for 15 days but was forced to collect earlier in order to help complete the needed trade circle). So, day 365, nothing happens.

I come on here, look for other similar threads before posting, and find out that because my nation was created after 12pm server time, mine was a day late.

WHY WAS THIS NEVER ANNOUNCED?

I've lost a MAJOR opportunity to earn some massive $$, of course I'm not happy. Surely there should've been some sort of announcement?

I haven't run into this problem before (primarily being I was ignorant of the games full details, such as the age population happiness bonuses), so I had no idea of the situation.

Mods or somebody this is applicable to, please explain why this is so, and why would you make the "Year old pop. happiness bonus" a day later just because my nation was created 20 minutes past 12 server time, making me loose (quite literally) millions?

Why the heck have you lost millions? Have you gone and collected ahead of your anniversary? Surely if you had a seven-day backcollect in the works, you could have turned it into an eight-day backcollection.

You'd expect to collect a year old population happiness bonus ONE YEAR after your nation was created, would you not? I assumed the feature had been removed from the game, since I didn't get a year old population happiness bonus the day my nation turned a year old.

Yes, I did collect when logically my happiness bonus should have been. Thus I got one measly day, not 7.

I DID NOT KNOW THAT I WOULD STILL GET THE POPULATION HAPPINESS BONUS, which is what I've been saying all along!

I thought that this feature had been removed from the game for some unknown reason. Thus, I collected prematurely. If I'd known the feature was still in the game, I would've waited another day now wouldn't of I? Is that concept too hard to understand?!

My issue is WHY hasn't this been changed, or announced. Is this a bug or deliberate programming? IF this is deliberate, then why on earth would you do that? I don't see the logic too it. All I would like is a simple answer, not a constant berating of people who cannot grasp good old fashioned logic!

In short, these questions are everywhere. I can't believe for one moment you have looked on recent pages in the 'Question Centre' or 'Gameplay Discussions' forums because you would have found similar questions asked. For instance page 2 of the QC

In short, you missed out and don't for one second think Admin will adjust it for you today.

This happens all the time, I wish these people would visit the board and ask a question or at least browse the thread list. Then they would not freak out and know that it's really not a bug, and that it just means a longer wait.

You should have noticed that things are pushed back a day for the past anniversaries. Really, it's not admin's fault that you did two acts of stupidity where there seems to only be one possible act.

Don't create a thread in the Bug Report section of the forums complaining about something because you did not pay attention before you collected.

There was no need for this thread at all, as it has already been pointed out that there are multiple topics where people actually asked about it made recently.
