Where UINE raided our friends and allies in the Alliance of International Defence (-AiD-). After a long time of negotiating and making deal after deal that didn't work out we were on the brink of war, a war only just avoided due to some of UINE's allies doing fine work on getting us back at the table. Finally we settled to a final deal, which can be found here: http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=96857 . As you can see 36M in reps for an alliance with well over 50 members back then I believe it was 80ish). Imagine our shock when we found out that after more then 5 months.. still nothing was paid. So i contacted Keve telling him he had till the end of the month to pay. Keve talked to AiD after that and expressed a wish to pay all reps himself, but due to slots taking 10 days to clear it would push him over the deadline yet again. Now what's 4 more days after such a long time? Not much so again he got an extension. Yesterday his slots cleared. We waited and waited but no reps were being send. This is where we draw the line. In our dealings with UINE i've noticed how it's always a little part of the deal that's not honored and then there comes some semi-reasonable explanation about why the deal was broken. But sometimes you have to take a step back and look at the big picture. We're now almost 6 months from the day the terms where signed. half a year time to send over 36M. What possible excuse is there to that? My best guess is that it's because AiD is too small to do anything about it. Thats why we made sure the deal was not signed only with them, but with us too. In our entire history we have fought many wars, yet we never kicked one off, we always believed in diplomacy over war, so it's sad to see the time come where diplomacy gets abused this much. So with a mixed feeling, we hereby declare war on UINE for breach of terms agreed on in january 2011.
