It is a period of civil war. Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet. These are their stories... [b]Article I “Always let the Wookie win”[/b] Both signatories formally recognize the right of the other signatory to exclusively exercise authority in all facets of its own internal domain. No action may be taken to undermine the sovereignty of either alliance. [b]Article II “But Alderaan is a peaceful planet!”[/b] Neither signatory shall authorize its members to attack or sanction members of the other signatory. Any unauthorized attacks or sanctions from the members of one signatory will be resolved to the satisfaction of the other signatory in private. [b]Article III “Many Bothans died to get this information”[/b] Both signatories agree to share any and all intelligence that is relevant to the security or well-being of the other. [b]Article IV: “Strike us down and we shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.”[/b] If one signatory is attacked the other signatory is obligated to assist if said assistance is requested, so long as the attack is not the result of an offensive declaration on behalf of another alliance. At that point, the defense becomes optional. [b]Article V “IT’S A TRAP”[/b] Termination of this agreement shall occur 96 hours after either signatory gives notice to that effect. Both signatories retain the inalienable right to give notice to withdraw from this agreement for any reason at any time.
