I am a Manchester United fan, supported Manchester United ever since i first watched a game when i was three years old. I think Eric Cantona was playing and he had executed an awesome assist which lead to a goal. But i have gotta admit i have not played for a football team myself since i was 15, i last played for the Stow Falcons, in goal. Of course i still play a bbit of football just to pass the time i love playing football and i love the game its one of the few things that lets me forget about all my troubles. I however do not have a real stance on the "Glazer out" campaign i just want to watch football.

I am sorry if there are any Chelsea fans out there but i hate Chelsea with a passion naturally i dislike Manchester City aswell but Chelsea to me are the worst. I admit Chelsea have had alot of success lately and they beat Manchester United recently but i just view their success coming from the billions invested into them. People might say this about Manchester United but i must point out we have won a treble in 1999 without the Glazers money.

There are other clubs i admit i like:

Aston Villa
Stoke
Ipswich Town FC (My local team)
AC Milan

And others what i can't be bothered right now to add to the list.

Favourite Players:

Pele
Maradona
Bobby Charlton
Gordon Banks
George Best
Nobby Styles
Eric Cantona
Ryan Giggs
Wayne Rooney
Ole Gunnar Solkjaer
Steven Gerrard
Peter Schmeichel
Jaap Stam
Michael Owen

and many others.

I have been a Queens Park Rangers (QPR FC) fan since i was 5/6 years old (I am 34 now so i have been supporting them for a lobg time), as a result i have a natural predisposition to hate our eternal rivals Chelsea and Fulham. I was a season ticket holder until 2005 and these days do not get to see matches as often as i would like to.

Due to my german heritage i am also an avid follow of german football especially 1860 Munchen (local rivals to Bayern Munchen).

In addition to that i follow Spanish football and tend to root for Malaga CF (My spanish wife's local team) and Atletico Madrid.

Yeah Malaga are cool, i go to see them at least once a year when i go to visit my in-laws, they have a great fan base which curiously enough includes a large number of Brits who live in southern spain, to the point where english style chants are not that uncommon at their matches.

Atletico are awesome but seem to be perenial underachievers, but thats part of their charm...you will see no more fanatical group of fans in spain than 'Atleti' fans.

Growing up in a city that has always loved football i'm a pretty big fan myself. Besides my local team (Universitatea Craiova, fairly unknown now, but it was a great team during the 80's), i like Atletico Madrid from Spain( that because i really hate Barcelona and i'm really tired of Real Madrid ), Inter Milan from Italy(and this means i really, really don't like AC Milan), Borussia Dortmund from Germany(i haven't really followed them in the past years) and I sort of like West Ham from England.

My favorite club is La Naranja, the Houston Dynamo from the MLS. Two-time champions in the league, with a great coach and players. Vamos Naranjaaa!

Hopefully our Forward, Brian Ching will recover from his ham-string injury to play with the US Mens Team in the World Cup.

I'm also a Man U fan, born and bred in Ma.....Birmingham :s

I admit I'm a glory hunter though unlike others. As none of my parents follow football I grew up following the team that won. Man City and Chelski I hate with a passion. With Utd we have steadily built our infrastructure to support our tech levels, whereas Chelski and co rely on multiple donation deals to support them. Hopefully FIFA see sense and impose a wage limit for clubs based on their revenue, although with our revenue this could see Utd winning the title every year. It's a price I'm willing to pay though.

Another QPR fan here used to get free tickets to their games, until Ericsson stopped being their sponsor. Much prefer rugby though with Wasps being my team of choice.

I'm a Turk, and I support Fenerbahçe. Our archrivals are Galatasaray, although they are pathetic - they may have a UEFA Cup, but we've been winning in home for the last 10 years straight in the Turkish Super League, and we only have two draws in the Turkish Cup.

My favorite player in my own team is Diego Lugano, who was also Uruguay National Team's captain if I remember things right.

I try to have a team to casually follow in most countries in UEFA, but my favourite teams are:

Tottenham Hotspur
Werder Bremen
Vancouver Whitecaps
Toronto FC
Turun Palloseura (TPS)
Deportivo de La Coruña
Fiorentina

Also, I don't give a damn if Canada's football (soccer) players aren't world class. I'll support 'em anyway. :P Internationally, I'll also strongly support the Netherlands, England, Morocco, Finland, and South Korea.

Teams I will never root for:

- Arsenal
- Lazio
- Perugia
- the Czech Republic national team, until they get rid of Milan Baroš, who's a diving motormouth. <_<

Favourite players:

Jermaine Defoe
Luka Modric
Any Canadian who plays pro soccer, especially Paul Stalteri (even though his form's gone down the tubes since he left Werder)
Asmir Begovic
Tim Borowski
Mikael Forssell
Ryan Giggs
Lionel Messi (even though I've traditionally rooted against Argentina)

Atletico Mineiro.

Used to go to stadiums frequently, follow every game, the whole package. Don't even follow the sport anymore.

Also liked Palmeiras in brazil, Man U in england, Internazionale in italy and real betis in spain.
Dont ask me why.

Players:

Garrincha
Pele
Ronaldo (fat one)
Romario
Zidane
Ronaldinho (horseface. In his early days)
Reinaldo (retired player, got his knees blown up quite early but would undoubtely have more projection)
Gamarra (paraguayan defense)
Taffarel (goalkeeper)

I really like Petkovic (croatian player that plays in brazil since ever). He's a fairly average midfielder with some very intelligent plays and considered "half a goal" in free kicks.

My Team
I have been a supporter of Burussia Dortmund since.............. forever and that will probably never change. You pick your team and then you die with it.

Teams i somewhat like:
SpVgg Unterhaching: I always liked them somehow. A little underdog that won some very fascinating matches during the title race. Hope they get into the Bundesliga again.

Bayern München: Though i would call it respect. Many germans hate them or at least dislike them. And why? Because they are the most stable team of the league. I mean its not their fault that all the other teams suck so much more. And of course that team is the only reason why we still got some teams in the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Champions League. So some respect should be adequate.

Juventus F.C.: I have to admit i liked them for only one reason: Roberto Baggio. When i was at my cousins house and his dad was home we watched football. But his dad was italian so we watched italian football. And Baggio was always a hero to me. Magnificent football player.

Teams i hate:
FC Schalke 04: Well as Borussia Dortmund fan i obviously dislike them. Thats the way the world works. They suck.

Bremen SV Werder Bremen: Fischköppe(fishheads). Meh dont like them.

Eintracht Frankfurt: Hessians. Thats even worse than being a fishhead.

Hamburger SV: More fishheads.

Hertha BSC: They are from Berlin. Thats enough to dislike them. And they always acted like they could play with the big teams or even on european level.

1. FC Köln: Oh god rhineland. Meh...

Bayer 04 Leverkusen: Oh great the !@#$%* rhineland city that wants to be like cologne.

VfB Stuttgart: Meh swabians. Dont really sure if thats worse than being from hesse.

deSouza, how about Socrates? Probably one of the most underrated Brazilian players ever. I've recently come across some footage from the World Cup in '82 and I couldn't believe my eyes. Assists, one-touch passes, blind passes, great goals... everything you could have expected from a playmaker. If any of you remember how Rivaldo and Ronaldo played in 2002, that's how the whole Brazilian team played in '82. And I'm more of an Argentina fan than a Brazil one, so this isn't at all biased.
