thedestro
I don't know if this is just the way it is, but when I get a notification and click the arrow to view it, it takes a very long time for it to open. RePePe
My apologies if this has been brought up before, but I get the Secure Key error very often. When going to post, it says my Secure Key did not match, then I have to copy what I was posting, go back, refresh, and post again and then it works. Doesn't seem a huge deal, but when your internet isn't the fastest, it's very annoying. In fact, on several occasions, this error has discouraged me from posting what I was going to post. Subtleknifewielder
That's mainly just what happenes if you take too long to post anyway, I think. If you've taken more than an hour since opening the window to finish your reply, I reccomend you merely copy/paste it all just before hitting the 'post' button. Lord Xnut
I tried reporting a post and got this error message when I clicked the Report button:
[#10135] We could not determine what type of content you are attempting to report.
Are we not supposed to report spam posts? thedestro
I get this strange mySQL error that says something to the effect of: SQL Error. There is nothing wrong with the board but with your SQL server. I'm guessing everybody is getting this since there are like 40 people on the board right now compared to a much higher number like haf an hour ago Edited October 5, 2010 by thedestro

supercoolyellow
This is hte kind of thing that if you already know whats going on let me know, if you have to do research though, don't bother, its not that important. I recently have had reason to copy and paste spread sheets to these forums. I have been using Open Office spread sheets and copying it to the the forums using a rich text edtor. Randomly when I do this, it will not allow some of these posts and gives me the error message along the lines of "You must make post" On top of this, after I paste and copy from this spread sheet, I don't seem to be able to change the font of numbers to red font. Ethan
I'm seconding the complaints on this page--I've been logged out and given the security key bug around 15 times in the past 20 minutes that I've been trying to post. This has been happening for months and has greatly discouraged my posting. In fact I just got the secure key bug and when I reloaded I was logged out. Cookies are on. abdur
This is probably a problem on my end, but I don't really know. Every day, the first time I try to post (using Fast Reply), I get the following message: I continue to get the same message every time until I refresh the page of the topic I am viewing.
This problem is annoying me too. It usually works on the second try(after refreshing), but when I am not on my home PC, and am on the bus or something, its really quite frustrating. Well, not just, a lot of sites are written insecurely, and people have written programs to exploit that as well. But since it's probably built deep into IPB, it's something they'd need to fix. maxfiles
I would complain directly to ipb about it.
