Stay with basic colors: Red, Blue, Black, Green, Purple (or other team colors) and metals - silver and gold, aka white and yellow. They generally do not have color on color but require metal on color or color on metal. It makes for great contrast. I was wandering through flags the other day trying to see which ones I could actually emblazon, i.e., say words that would mean anyone would know what it looked like, and found that I could do that on many of the classic ones and classic examples used. [/quote] If you're looking for like no maintenance and just the bare minimum, I would say InvisionFree and Zetaboards are your best bet. They aren't your own host, or anything but they allow you to create forums.
