Hate both alliances, skimmed the pages, saw the word YOLO and some high levels of Sodium Chloride from a poster. So as much as it pains me to do so, o/ Kashmir, because MHA is still worse than you are.

Not so much nuked a former TDO guy as nuked a nation on None, who I was trying to recruit in a fun way. I declared war on WillyPete with the reason: "Join Kashmir" and did not launch any attacks until I talk again, here, at the end of these logs.

I'm not the evil and unreasonable person jalap is making me out to be. Sure I'm not the most polite guy but I WillyPete wasn't exactly innocent either. What I can see happening here is, jalap's upset that his AA is going through some technical difficulties in-game and is venting his frustration by attacking me and strong-arming my alliance for a raid that he himself has acknowledged legal. This was a squabble between myself and WillyPete that jalap stuck his nose into.

That's part of the problem here, jalap: You made demands of my membership without my knowledge (initially at least) or consent.

 

What's further troubling is that while we were both 'working' (apparently to varying degrees) to reach peace over the course of the last day and a half attacks continued and an additional war was declared. That's not unheard of, sure, but it really questions your intentions and I'm sure you can understand how it would be construed as negotiating in bad faith.

 

I'm fine with voiding mutual apologies and reparations and am fine with the 'duel' that you proposed (with the amendment I've communicated). An eye for an eye.

We didn't even demand an apology for YOLO's disrespectfull actions. We only demanded he explained his actions to the nation that was seeking our protection from the raid.

We tried asking it in a friendly way. We tried getting it diplomatically. We tried getting it in a fun way, by sending Vogon Poetry. After all, all who have been at war with MHA know that our Vogon Poetry usually leads fun pm exchanges. In this case however, our Vogon Poetry was responded by more disrespectfull behaviour.

 

Just letting all that pass was not an option. You can't spit on people without consequenses. So we did what we had to do. And Kashmir now also does what they have to do. If only they could have more influence on YOLO, then this would never have gone this far.

 

For the record: MHA is not seeking a full blown war with Kashmir, for we have no grudge or issue with them. We do however stick to our demand that spitting on people can't go by without consequenses. Preferably dealt with within the rulers alliance. Or by us if there's no alternative.

 

I'm sure you think you sound like the great moral arbiter of all that is proper.

 

In fact you sound like a big ol' crybaby. You stuck your nose where it didn't belong and it got smacked with a newspaper. This made you sad. So you decided to resort to some good old-fashioned we're-bigger-than-you antics. Wow, we're all so impressed.

i guess i'd say these numbers are why jalap thinks he can tell us what to do.  im not a big fan of that kind of treatment but having spent a long time in a small alliance its one i'm used to and i can say with some confidence it wont deter us from protecting ourselves anymore that it has before.

I was unhappy with your persistance to attack and nuke after my request to quit the raid. But I was ready to let that pass because the applicant was not yet a full member.

Indeed, the *spits* made me push through a quest for some kind of response from you. I felt (and still feel) one can't spit on my member, not even on my pending members, without an apology or at least an explanation.

 

And then both of us remained stubborn, which leads us to where we are now.

 

I hope we'll announce an agreement soon, this has gone far enough.

If the guy was on None when this all started then no apology should be called for and as for an explanation, all you need to know is when hostilities will end or how you can speed that process up.
