yung flow
I think it would be better if we did not disclose the awards till the end of the round.
admin
You're suggesting don't announce the winners of the round that just finished until the end of the next round?
Kurdanak
I think he's suggesting that continuously updated awards, emphasis on causalities, aren't displayed until that round ends.
yung flow
Exactly, don't tell everyone "most infra will win an award" just have some awards in mind and after the round comes to a close post what awards were chosen and who won them. Ezeriel
So while awards are a thing it would be more of a mystery award rather than something someone could aim towards?
Shifty Stranger
Hiding award progress doesn't make much sense since a member with plenty of free time can just add up the stats and keep daily/weekly track.
Captain Enema
He's suggesting that what we can be rewarded for be hidden, which has some merit. Though, I'd suggest a number of awards that are public and then 1 or 2 awards, to be suggested by us filthy animals, that are secret. Overlord Wes
Definitely leave some public ones. If they're all hidden i'm sure some people will cry 'admin bias' and claim the rewards were chosen after the fact in order to give/not give awards to specific people/alliancesedit: actually that would probably happen even if there's only 1 hidden award Edited July 2, 2015 by Overlord Wes
Warhammer
I think that this is a great idea and that this round would be a great time to make it happen. And I am really not understanding why admin would be biased as to who wins what. Does he have friends playing? I just can't see that being a factor in having hidden awards. The good thing I see about not announcing what will win awards is that it will be almost impossible to try and "cheat" to win awards when you don't know what they will be for. Admin could do an award for the most destructive war, most tech destroyed in a war, most soldiers killed in a war, most wars declared or anything along those lines without worrying about people trying to "cheat" the system to win such awards if they are not announced beforehand. It would also all but eliminate "flag runners" as how can you run for a flag when you don't know what it will take to win it?
