Raymond Jaeger
I checked my collection amount with 4 Border Walls today, and then bought a single Border Wall to see how it influenced collection, and then deleted it so that I was back to 4 Border Walls. I then rechecked my collection, and it had decreased by a little over 6%. I did not do anything else that could have influenced the collection. I have yet to collect. Could someone please look into this and check to see if this is a glitch/bug? Thank you. Edit: I now realize a proposal expired that influenced my collection inbetween checking within a minute, assuming that proposals expire exactly 30 days after passage and not at midnight/update. If so, please ignore this thread and consider it closed. Thanks. Edited March 17, 2015 by Raymond Jaeger
Auctor
I had this same problem this morning. On my collection screen it told me I'd be collecting 6mil more than it tells me I collected on my activity screen and the only disparity to account for it is that I tried/deleted a second border wall. jerdge
AFAIK events and proposals expire at update thus they can't explain what you're experiencing. I just checked my collection screen before and after having bought and then sold a BW. The collection amount didn't change.
Raymond Jaeger
Admin, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the actual effects of proposals expire 30 days after passed to the very second, but for some reason the game still shows them as not expired until the next update. If so, that'd fully explain why my collection was lower, as I was fooling around with Border Walls exactly 30 days after Make Burgers Not War was passed at 1:27:19 pm this past Sunday. The effects of Global Stimulus also expired before the game showed the proposal as being expired, although maybe there are special rules for that global stimulus proposal. I'm not admin, but they definitely have expired mid day and not at updates.
admin
Proposals expired to the minute and not to the date. I've changed them to expire at midnight update to align with the rest of the formulas throughout the game.
