ATLANTA, GA In the newly-announced capital, President Chairman Earl Browder delivered a speech, in which he reiterated that the American Red Army would commit itself not only to defending the borders of the Communist States of America, but also to expanding what party leaders have called the Golden Circle, a relic some may remember from the American Civil War in the 1860's. In this speech, President Chairman Browder reminded the American people that while the American Red Army is strong and will crush all opposition, it is not yet ready to undertake such a grand and large operation. Twenty four 300-gun artillery corps have been raised, bringing total artillery numbers to 7,200 guns. In addition, Guards Armor Divisions have been commissioned alongside normal Armor Divisions, which when totaled, bring armored units to 2,500 vehicles. The American Red Army Air Force (ARAAF) has as its disposal 12,000 fighters and 8,000 bombers, for a total of 20,000 combat-ready aircraft. The American Navy sits at 161 combat-ready vessels of various types, ready to deploy against any and all foes. A sub-unit of the Navy is the Communist States of America Marine Corps, or CSAMC, which will be ready to deploy anywhere at anytime. The Navy allows us not only to protect our home waters from foreign invasion, but also to take the fight to our enemies wherever they may be. Three carriers exist in the USN, and are built on the Yorktown-class aircraft carrier, which can carry up to 90 aircraft, has a complement of 2,217 enlisted and officers, and is armed with 8 5"/38 caliber guns, 4 quad 1.1"/75 caliber guns, and 24 .50 caliber machine guns. All but the 5 inch guns can be used for anti-aircraft duties. Ship names are as follows for the carriers; USN Yorktown (CV-5) USN Enterprise (CV-6) USN Hornet (CV-7) Two battleships exist in the USN, and are built on the German Bismarck-class design, which can carry up to four aircraft, has a complement of 104 officers and 1,962 enlisted, and is armed with 9 15" guns, 12 6" guns, 16 4.1" guns, 16 1.5" guns, and 20 "quarter-inch" guns. President Chairman Browder, in his press release, stated that the Spanish have "no right" to the Cuban people, and their continued and brave resistance is proof positive that the Spanish imperialists are not welcome. Also of concern to President Chairman Browder was the fact that Spain seems to be attempting to reclaim her old colonial empire, an objective which has found much opposition in the American popular opinion. The Foreign Office confirmed that a diplomatic message has been sent to Spain informing them of the USN's actions and possible consequences should the American request for immediate withdrawal not be heeded. We, as protectors of the Americas and destroyers of fascists and imperialists, must do all that we can to eliminate this threat on our very shores. The United States Navy's First Fleet, which consists of the USS Yorktown, Georgia, Lexington, Myrtle Beach, four heavy cruisers, the 1st Light Cruiser Squadron, and fifty-one destroyers, shall sail for the island of Cuba and block and further Spanish ships intent on reinforcing and supplying Spanish forces in Cuba. The US Navy will only fire if fired upon first, but has orders to stop by any means necessary any and all ships destined for Cuba that fly the Spanish flag. Greywall Posted January 31, 2015 Report Share Posted January 31, 2015 With the soviet dogs blockading Spanish land, the transport ships were ordered to proceed forward with orders not to stop. The Spanish battle group off the coast of Jacksonville left only a five cruisers and the carriers and sailed for Cuba. These Soviet scoundrels would not interfere with supplies and would be pushed to fire the first shots exposing them as the aggressive mad mob they are. Spanish subs began extensive patrols along the Eastern coast of Florida and Cuba orders to sink any socialist ships when they fired on Imperial transports or warships were given along with keeping out of sight and under the surface. President Chairman Browder has officially declared a State of War between the Communist States of America and Spain for the following reason: Illegal Running of Blockade. As a result of the declaration of war, the American Red Army, ARAAF, and US Navy have been mobilized to a war-time footing, as well as a national curfew which is to be set at 9:00 PM on the dot. Anyone out past this time risks being arrested as a Spanish spy. CLASSIFIED - TOP SECRET INTERNAL PRESIDENT CHAIRMAN MEMO DO NOT COPY, DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) has been established, which is to oversee all foreign espionage activities for the duration of the war or however long necessary as deemed by President Chairman Browder. Current trained OSS agents have been ordered to slip into Cuba by utilizing air and sea routes from the so-called "white space" areas and by faking Massachusetts Commonwealth passports to gain access to Spain. A message would be delivered to the Communists to the North requesting assistance in their fight. Florida quickly fell into anarchy as Natives and Caucasians battled across the land. Across all fronts, Red Army forces fight to secure the rights of the workers in Florida, against the aggression displayed by Spanish forces who still cling onto the city of Jacksonville like ticks.
