Cazaric Posted January 13, 2015 Report Share Posted January 13, 2015 Hello all, My name is Cazaric, and until now, I have been the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Atlas alliance, an alliance that has recently been at the forefront of CN:TE politics with its unprovoked attack on the Fearless Fighters, and its harsh ultimatum delivered to them: to join Atlas or delete. There would be no alternative. However, as a player who values morality and justice, I cannot support such an ideal. The war against the Fearless Fighters was unfair, in that we vastly overpowered them, and they were still building. This was bad enough. But to issue such an ultimatum is something I can not stand behind. I am not the kind of man who wishes to crush his enemies utterly; white peace should have been offered to the Fearless Fighters. As such, I have resigned from my post as Minister of Foreign Affairs, and indeed from Atlas itself. I will create a new AA, called the Angels of War. I hope any other Atlas members (for I was certainly not alone) who disapprove of the way this has all been handled will follow me and we can create a new, reasonable alliance away from the chaos caused by the Atlas president's impetuous assault. I would like to make it clear that this decision is not as a result of the declaration by D1 on Atlas; there are others who are well aware of the fact that I have been thinking this way for a while. Anyone who has dealt with me in this crisis will know me to be a reasonable person who could not approve of any of this. So, in essence, this is a declaration of existence for the Angels of War, an alliance that has no beef with D1 or with the Fearless Fighters. Thank you, Cazaric. Down declares get attention in TE, warring needs to be declared on owf, TE is unlike SE and surrenders are not enforced or spoken or even mentioned. We have a respectable time frame we allow for alliances coming out of war, 6 to 10 days the norm. Those alliances can be raided (unfriendly) but not declared on 6 to 10 days. Stupid stuffs happens in TE, learning curves happen like this get spanked by being unfair. Sooooooooooo I would say it is fair that Atlas learned a law of respect now in TE. We will break off our war if peace is sent to FF and you regroup. Look forward to working with Atlas or Angles of love or maybe it is Angels of War my bad. So many nations here from all over the world make an effort to enjoy the riches of aquaintences from across the world as we play CNTE. Were's my mustach wax, ready to ride! I'm happy to see that I was not alone here, and that the Angels of War has already grown to 17 members, with more coming in from Atlas every hour. All incoming members are being informed to offer peace to D1 and FF nations, as a blanket ceasefire has been ordered by me. Burning Glory Posted January 14, 2015 Report Share Posted January 14, 2015 It is true Cazaric had contacted me in game yesterday evening about tring to set up peace. He explained that he was only MoFA, but did not agree with KG III on attacking us. He also said he would try to get peace, but was afraid of being booted if he ordered a cease fire. I wasn't aware that he decided to form his on alliance untill today when he informed me. Cazaric has kept things honorable and I ask that everyone attacking his new alliance Angles of War, please send/except peace, and not hold him or any of his true members responcible for the rouges that are attacking other alliances in an obvious attempt to get AoW further attacked. My guess is that someone is ticked that he left and took most of Atlas with him. As far as Atlas goes, I have yet to hear anything from KG wanting peace. When the withdrawal of members from Atlas was begun by me, I messaged all Atlas members, saying that anyone who did not believe in this war with Fearless Fighters should follow me to the new AA. I would consider all those who followed me to be believers in the same thing as I: that it was unjustified, unfair and cruel. A number of them have openly expressed to me that they feel this way, including before the formation of the Angels of War. As such, they came to the Angels out of ideological beliefs, and not out of fear for themselves. However, we in the Angels are now being made to fear. Is it right that we should be punished so for conscientiously objecting to a war and the ultimatum issued with it? We can only hope that the leaders and membership of those alliances currently "raiding" Angels of War (eg. Nuclear Jihad and Defcon 1) can understand the situation that we are in, and react accordingly. It is the sincere wish of the Angels of War that we may escape the carnage that was Atlas with some dignity, and be given the chance to rebuild and be a proper alliance, not a raiding target. Wise words. edit: although DEFCON 1 made an honorable choice to stop raiding AoW. So all good now. Wish to face you in a real war and not that abomination i had the misfortune to participate while on Atlas. Also, some of you may believe that we (AoW) deserve some kind of punishment. Let me tell you something. I am a busy man in real life and i don't have the time to overanalyze a situation in forums and by mass messaging to see wtf is going on. I just logged in one day and saw a message with a target list (by King George) stating "we are at war and desertion will be punished". I am sure all of AoW are people like me that AFTERWARDS realised this was not even a MUTUAL war so we left Atlas and offered peace to everyone we were told to declare. Now tell me, what would you do otherwise if you were in my shoes? Anyways, all is good now. Atlas finito. Thanks for understanding. :) edit 2: i just got sent into anarchy by the raids that were supposed to be stopped.
