King James XVIII Posted December 14, 2014 Report Share Posted December 14, 2014 Tonight, I am announcing that after three years and 13 rounds I am retiring from being King Cobra of TPC effective at reset. There are a lot of things I could say, but I want to thank my brothers in TPC for always believing in me and working together to build what we have. Like Truman (for those familiar with American history) I have always believed that the buck stopped with me. I've made a lot of decisions that have made friends and enemies, but I am proud of what TPC has become. Next round, the remaining gov will lead by committee. They should be given a clean slate. I have no doubt that they will build on what we've done together during my leadership. When I became a leader, I loved to broker world peace more than anything else (I did it twice?). I leave the job loving to make the biggest wars TE has seen in its modern age more than anything else. I served TPC with all I had. I could give no more. After an exceptional run which brought TPC to the top and changed the world, it is time for me to move on from leadership. Simply put, I'm old, over the hill (no time), and TPC needs new blood to move it into the future. :P I am so damn proud of what we've done together. We still hold all time records in building, war, and killing. I look forward to helping the new gov move TPC upward and forward as a private citizen. New gov announcement will come next round. Rest assured, we are coming back and we're coming back strong. As for me, I'm putting myself out to pasture to live out my remaining rounds. Guns in hand. TPC FOREVER See ya next round; pick well in your successor. Vet them strongly. TPC's a hell of a group; deserves a tradition of good leadership. I remember in, I think it was 28, we had some ambitions in NDO to take you on an even fight. You were considered our highest priority target because your reputation as lethal fighters was a bar we wanted to raise; unfortunately with the decline in membership we never got to have that chance. It has a been an honour to serve in TPC gov under King James XVIII's leadership. He has been a great King, who dedicated himself to TPC, and in so doing has improved TE along the way. I know what it's like to need a break, and in my case I didn't really have a choice, but leaving TE I knew that I had left TPC in good hands.....KJ was a great CO leader and has been one of the best Leaders in TE. He has ruled with honor, integrity dedication, and self sacrifice, I believe 4 things that are a must for any good leader, not to mention IMO TPC's GOV is second to none! There are several people playing TE that I respect as players and builders, but there is only a hand full of people That I respect as a person, KJ is one of them! He will be missed as a leader! o/ hail to one of the best alliances in TE history! o/ hail to KJ, who helped make that possible! BG BTW KJ, you'll need a hobby it gets boring setting around watching your grass grow and yelling at the neborhood kids to stay off your lawn!
