Simple proposal, screenshot your nation, confirm the statistics with a GM, those are your stats for the duration of the conflict you are fighting, after said conflict is over you have 10 days to remain on those stats(to account for nuclear anarchy and a reasonable collection afterwards), and then your stats revert to whatever they are in game once more.

If you'd like, I can just say fuck it and you can lose your statistics as you lose them in game, this is I feel the most reasonable proposal for the concept of stat saving that I could come up with after discussing the idea with people.

I would be inclined to agree with this, but there are other game mechanics that I would like to bring up into this debate, such as the pocket wars that happen with small rogue alliances against larger alliances, and the environment messes up the population count. Perhaps a save system should be implemented for such a scenario to deal with that, and you used those saved stats for prior to war stats. Then when the war is over, you have ten days to get things back to where you were before war, then if you cannot do this you have to update to your current stats.

I'm abstaining from giving any proposal my official support, I feel as a GM I can't show favor between different rper's choices. That being said, I suggest you agree to a specific proposal, which seems to be the case with mogar's thing, and be sure there are 7 people in support of it.

 

From there we go directly to a vote.

I'm late to the party, apparently, but needless to say I support a stat saving system. Wars come and go in CN, and I've never supported systems that result in a nation's ability to defend itself swinging wildly due to events that aren't within the scope of the RP itself. How many more people do we need to support this before we bring it to a vote?
