Mogar
Simple proposal, screenshot your nation, confirm the statistics with a GM, those are your stats for the duration of the conflict you are fighting, after said conflict is over you have 10 days to remain on those stats(to account for nuclear anarchy and a reasonable collection afterwards), and then your stats revert to whatever they are in game once more. Dillon1102
So you're going to punish people for being loyal?
Mogar
If you'd like, I can just say fuck it and you can lose your statistics as you lose them in game, this is I feel the most reasonable proposal for the concept of stat saving that I could come up with after discussing the idea with people. Lord Hershey
A fair ruling, I approve.
Lysergide
I would be inclined to agree with this, but there are other game mechanics that I would like to bring up into this debate, such as the pocket wars that happen with small rogue alliances against larger alliances, and the environment messes up the population count. Perhaps a save system should be implemented for such a scenario to deal with that, and you used those saved stats for prior to war stats. Then when the war is over, you have ten days to get things back to where you were before war, then if you cannot do this you have to update to your current stats. Captain Enema
I'd approve for saving stats for a specific period of time, wars of late have gotten fairly long.
Kevin Kingswell
I'm against stats saving though if others want it I don't mind. If I lose stats I usually write something about it in my RP but I can see why others may not wish to do so. In other words I wait to see what others choose and accept whatever choice is made.
Hereno
my only objection to this would be based on a scenario where someone waits until someone else is beat down and then declares war on thembut supposedly that scenario cannot happen in cnrpatherefore i have no objections to this
Captain Enema
I'm abstaining from giving any proposal my official support, I feel as a GM I can't show favor between different rper's choices. That being said, I suggest you agree to a specific proposal, which seems to be the case with mogar's thing, and be sure there are 7 people in support of it.  From there we go directly to a vote.  Nice to see a relatively civil discussion, I hope this is the first of many to come.
Maelstrom Vortex
The proposal is fair, whether or not I would personally benefit from it is irrelevant to me. I'll go with whatever is decided, but I think it is the right thing to do.
Yerushalayim
I'm late to the party, apparently, but needless to say I support a stat saving system. Wars come and go in CN, and I've never supported systems that result in a nation's ability to defend itself swinging wildly due to events that aren't within the scope of the RP itself. How many more people do we need to support this before we bring it to a vote?
Rudolph
I think roughly about half of them or so.

Mogar
we have 9 currently in this thread.
Captain Enema
7 actually, my vote doesn't count, and a few others aren't entirely in favor of it. 7 is the magic number. If rudy has time he can post the voting poll, if I have time later tonight or the energy I'll do it myself. Right now, rp time.
