"The Kingdom is more than pleased to hear that the state of Russia still exists regardless of the difference of its current government, as such we humbly request a meeting between our two countries to discuss the movement forward of our relations, taking into consideration the debt that the Kingdom owes to the world at large. We also request if it's possible to establish an Embassy within the Federation.

We hope that good relations and tidings flourish between our two great countries."

Respectfully,

Kralj Dragojev Belojevic

A message would be sent to the Yugoslav government:

Kralj Dragojev Belojevic,

In the interests of cordial relations with Yugoslavia, as with the rest of the world's nations, we accept your request for a diplomatic meeting. The Foreign Commisariat will undertake the necessary preparations. I look forward to meeting with you.

As for the Embassy, you are welcome to establish one in Stalingrad.

Signed,
Lev Gromyko,
Foreign Commissar

"The Kingdom wishes to know if 46 Mosfilmovskaya street, Moscow is still available, we ask because in our still-held records, it is the oldest embassy that used to be between our two countries in the Old World Order.

We hope that great things come from the two Slavic countries coming together finally, and we likewise look forward with meeting you."

Respectfully,

Kralj Dragojev Belojevic

Private reply:

"Unfortunately, this is not possible. Moscow had been the target of several nuclear attacks in the last war, and we would not want your representatives to be exposed to radioactive dangers. In accordance to Soviet law, embassies will have to be established in Stalingrad, which is the capital.

We have an available facility at 78 Stalinovskaya Street, for your consideration."

Signed,
Lev Gromyko
Foreign Commissar

OOC: You can skip to the meeting.

The trip to the capital city would be mostly uneventful but pleasant regardless Dražen Cižek thought to himself as he walked through the hallways of the Kingdom's new found embassy within the Soviet country, hopefully. As he was escorted to the most likely room where they would have the meeting, Dražen wondered how this hopefully new relationship with the Russians would impact the Kingdom and what would be in store for the two in the future as slavic countries.

Lev Gromyko would be waiting at the conference room of the new Yugoslav embassy, which would serve as the meeting place. As per Soviet diplomatic tradition, the honor guard would play the Yugoslav anthem upon Cižek's arrival and transport him to the embassy. Gromyko himself was adorned in a military-style tunic, and would stand up when Cižek arrived.

"Greetings, Comrade," he would greet with a small smile as he walked over and extended his hand for a friendly shake. "Welcome to Russia. I trust the trip went well?"

Dražen had heard tales of the greeting and while he himself never used it, it was for the best that he start now to ensure smooth relations with the Soviets, "Greetings, Comrade," he said in turn, firmly shaking the Soviet's offered hand with a polite smile on his face, "The trip was a most excellent one, Comrade. The city looks beautiful, a powerful testament to the dedication and willpower of the Russian people if I do say so."

Gromyko smiled at the praise of the city. "Indeed. The city is something of an embodiment of the iron will of one of our Leaders, Stalin, and we take pride in the tidiness and orderliness in our capital. It is not Moscow or Leningrad, that's for sure, but it provides great accommodations for the time being."

He would take a seat and gesture for the Yugoslav to do the same. "Before we proceed to official business, do you want refreshments?"

Dražen nodded as he took his seat, the Serb comfortable in his chair, "A simple glass of Brandy if you will, Comrade, and as for who I am, I am Councilor Dražen Cižek, the person in charge of the Kingdom's Foreign Affairs as assigned by our Sovereign, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic," he said as he introduced himself fully to the Russian.

As an aide poured Dražen a glass of the nation's finest brandy, Gromyko inclined his head. "I am Lev Gromyko, the person in charge of Russian foreign policy as assigned by the Council of People's Commissars of the Russian Federation," he introduced himself in turn as he took a glass of death vodka and sipped it. "What matters do you wish to discuss with Russia?"

The Yugoslavian Councilor nodded before taking a sip of his drink, "I'll be frank with you, Comrade, the Kingdom is unsure due to being of different governmental ideologies at its core. If Russia does not mind the Kingdom's government, we would wish to discuss matters of trade, security, relations and foreign policy regarding Europe if you would be willing to discuss them."

Gromyko nodded. "We are willing to discuss the topics that you speak of. We could take steps to improve the flow of trade between our nations, particularly over the Black Sea. Owing to the strategic importance of the Black Sea, we could cooperate together, along with other neighboring nations, to provide security in the Black Sea, alas, to combat piracy and prevent or reduce conflict there."

Dražen nodded at the words of the Foreign Commissar, "While understandable, the Kingdom of Yugoslavia has no presence within the Black Sea due to the primary fact that the Kingdom possesses no port on the coast of the Black Sea, Comrade," he answered before taking another sip of his brandy.

"However, we would be more than willing to lending our support regardless in ensuring that the Black Sea remains free from piracy. Now, seeing as we're talking about seas and shipping lanes, I was wondering what Russia had in mind for trade and commerce with the Kingdom, Comrade."

"Well, we could reduce some tariffs and other barriers to entry of goods and products entering our respective countries. We have plenty of oil, metals, plastics, and fertilizer that we could export to your country in exchange for machine tools and technology, and I am sure the Foreign Trade Commissariat would be happy to arrange that should you agree. I could enter into talks with the Energy Commissariat to provide you preferential pricing on oil, similar to ones we have for our allies."

Dražen smiled widely, "I do believe that a proper exchange on the Kingdom's part regarding goods and its exports towards the Russian state will help towards improving relations further between our two states. Regarding preferential pricing on oil, I do believe I can discuss with my trade oriented colleague to help establish the same with the Kingdom's energy resources of oil and gas to Russia."

The Serb took a small pause, taking a sip of his drink to further calm his nerves and relaxing him, settling into his usual nature as the Councilor. "Regarding piracy within the Black Sea, the Kingdom will do its best to provide ample support and ships to the endeavor but that by itself shall have to wait till the issue in Bulgaria is concluded and there are no tensions between the Kingdom and the Hellenic Republic. I do imagine it would be poor form to promise various things when the situation at hand shows otherwise, Comrade."

Gromyko nodded after listening to his counterpart. "That is understandable. We can revisit this topic once the ongoing dispute with Greece is rectified. We hope for a peaceful resolution to the dispute. If I may ask, what is your opinion of our allies in the Nordic Hammer?"

Dražen quirked an eyebrow before taking a long deep pull his beverage, the Councilor pondering on the answer to such a question before nodding, "While the Kingdom itself has never had official contact with the member states of the Nordic Hammer, it does have concerns with regards to the expansion of the Northlands into the Mediterranean and the whole tension that I do believe still exists between our ally in Alvonia and the Nordisk Rike."
