KIllingInnocent
The Union of Communist Republics hereby leaves the Die Linke Bloc. This decision comes after much talking and thinking. We wish LSF and SWF the best with their future endeavors. As for the UCR, we hope this will be the beginning of something beautiful. Alexio15
UCR are still considered a acting member in the Atlas - Die Linkie treaty and will be until such a point that either side does not want the treaty. It's a shame to see allies split but sometimes it happens best of luck to all involved.
Sir Kiloist
Welp.. Much love to UCR. Congratulations on moving to bigger things. Unfortunately, things don't always work out. Best of luck to UCR in their new adventures and LSF/SWF moving forward.

Auctor
you guys sort of entered into the treaty knowing that there were these, uh, "organizational differences"kind of makes you look ridiculously incompetent to cite that as your reason for leavingjust sayin' Article IV: On Commitment1. This treaty represents an eternal bond. Once signed, a signatory cannot voluntarily revoke their signature. Yeah, that's what looks incompetent. Anarquista
haha oh wow but I can't say I blame you, you are right about the reasoning for it, it is unfortunate timing though (or fortunate) good luck to all parties involved Edited November 19, 2014 by Anarquista
Montosh
Yeah, that's what looks incompetent. Really, an eternal treaty? I thought people had realised that was a stupid idea.
Lord Hershey
Good announcement, UCR, I'm sure UCR has a bright future ahead.
kingzog
Article IV: On Commitment 1. This treaty represents an eternal bond. Once signed, a signatory cannot voluntarily revoke their signature. Treaty must have been drafted by a closet Roman Catholic. No divorce! (Die Linke has always struck me as an odd assemblage anyway, Much respect for LSF, though.)

Pingu
Really, an eternal treaty? I thought people had realised that was a stupid idea. Eternity ain't what it used to be. Best of luck to all the comrades as they go their separate ways.

HM Solomon I
Yeah, that's what looks incompetent. You beat me to it, but yeah technically they're always a member of Die Linke since any action to withdraw is illegal under the terms of the treaty. Granted, it's not like they can be forced to abide by the treaty and actually act as if they are a member, but since they can't legally withdraw, in the future another alliance could use this against them. Perhaps by refusing to recognize them as separate from Die Linke, that could be make for some interesting situations I'd bet. They could've amended it to take that eternity clause out, but from the announcement it's clear they never did that (since they only amended it once and it wasn't to do that).
