Centurius
With the situation of the world as it was the renewed British state had a real use for allies beyond Europe. Before relations between Novak and Britain had become pretty close however a treaty had never been signed. The recent act by Novak to protect an area Britain generally considered to be part of its Commonwealth was only further evidence that Novak had positive intentions. In line with this a diplomat would deliver a message to Admiral Kochavi. Admiral, In recent years the nations of Novak and Britain have become quite close at several times. With the renewed status of the United Kingdom and your continued stability we would like to request permission to send Lord John Marbury to negotiate future relations. Sincerely, His Majesty William the Fifth, By the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Ireland and Portugal, and of His other Realms and Territories King, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith
Voodoo Nova
King William V, We will welcome Lord Marbury in Novak to continue previous discussions held under the old regime. He will be able to meet with General Qurei in Amal. Sincerely, Admiral Aviv Kochavi
Centurius
Using a Boeing with British diplomatic colours Marbury would make his way to Novak by air. Along with him would be several employees from the Foreign Officer as well as the former Ambassador to Novak who would hopefully be reinstated there today as well. Voodoo Nova
The diplomatic mission would be met after their arrival by Admiral Kochavi and General Qurei. Aviv would exchange greetings before departing to handle Australian matters. The General continued on, leading the mission to the Embassy. A small tour of the Capital district and historic sites would be arranged for the foreign office employees while Qurei and Marbury met in a modern, yet ornate, meeting room near his office. The room overlooked the Capital district and the surrounding skyline.

Voodoo Nova
"It is my pleasure Lord Marbury. What brings you to Novak? Our previous talks with your nation went silent after the fall of the previous regime, so I am curious if you seek similar agreements or something different." Centurius
"I am very much interested in maintaining the previous offers and extending upon these for a comprehensive agreement concerning mutual defence, optional aggression, trade as well as cooperation in the Indian Ocean. My King has however also instructed me to thank you for protecting our brothers and sisters in Australia as well as discussing the possibility of carrying over such protection duties to the United Kingdom now that it has reformed to full strength"
Voodoo Nova
"That is something we'd be opening to do in the future. We've had limited interactions and Australia has suffered at the hands of foreign powers already. Britain and Australia may have a history, but that has not been influential to events or to their culture as a former Commonwealth nation in the last few decades. For the time being, we'd like to see Australia operate as a Novak protectorate with some British assistance, until such a point where the citizens of Australia see a British protectorate as more beneficial." Centurius
Marbury nodded as the General outlined his position. "I understand, but of course in the same vein it can be said that Novak has historically had no significant relations with Australia and has only recently assumed its role as protector. While I would not state that Novak has no role in the administration of the protectorate I must insist that the mere presence of Australians at the coronation of His Majest the King as well as the easy integration of Tasmania into the United Kingdom proper shows the position we are in for the administration of this land. What I would propose as a compromise is one where the protectorate is nominally handed over to the United Kingdom however Novak would be allowed to maintain basing as well as an unrestricted military presence. We would also commit to not taking any action to annex territory without the explicit consent of the local population as well as confirmation from Novak. This way you would be able to maintain proper oversight while it allows us to protect our kin"
Voodoo Nova
"Your role is Tasmania has been impressive. When it comes to Australia, that's closer to what I feel would be appropriate. Novak should remain the de jure protector of the Australian continent. This covers the military base we have established in Perth, the unrestricted military access across the protectorate and allows Novaki investment to flourish in what we believe will be a more stable presence to our business leaders. The United Kingdom should serve as the primary administrator of and primary face to the protectorate region, with the possibility of annexation determined by a popular vote and our confirmation of the results. Prior to any annexation vote, we will shift de jure Protector status to the United Kingdom at least a year in advance, allowing you to take full responsibility for the region. We will require that we maintain the region around Perth, the island bases near the city and the unrestricted military access prior to, during and after any annexation of Australia." Centurius
"Very well, those terms are acceptable to us. Would you have a draft agreement I could sign by any chance?"
Voodoo Nova
Qurei would motion for a legal aide to create a draft. "It should be complete by the end of lunch," Qurei said. As if the staff were waiting for a cue, a catering service immediately brought in lunch for the delegates and staff of both countries. It would feature cuisine unique to Novak as well as some British favorites. By the end of the meal, the draft was brought in for the parties to sign. Centurius
Marbury would enjoy the offerings, he had always been fascinated with cuisine from this area. Once the draft arrived he would add his signature at the bottom of the document. "It is great doing business with your country"
