Empress Hoshiko was getting up in age, and even with a tense world, the goal of Pacific Security seemed complete, to celebrate such an event, the Taiheiyō Class Yacht had begun construction, 450 meters, a 50 meter beam, and 10 meter draft, the closest civilian comparison would be a container ship in size. The vessel had 250,000 hp engines, able to move the massive vessel at nearly 40 knots. The Chrysanthemum suite, at 520 square meters (5597 square feet) over two stories, will encompass nearly one full deck of space in the seven-deck yacht, and offer unparalleled views. It will feature two staterooms, and will include private access to a helipad and an elevator from an exclusive drive in dock, as well as all the luxury amenities you would come to expect. The owner's suite also offers a private gym, office and study, private dining area, butler's stateroom and more. Onboard guests will be similarly pampered in eight VIP suites of 120 square meters  (1291.7ft²) apiece, and 12 guest suites, each at over 60 square meters (645 square feet). All guests will have access to the yacht's two pools, one indoor, one outdoor with an artificial beach, multiple Jacuzzis, spa facilities, full time masseuse, hair stylist and barber, as well as all the water toys the yacht can carry. 

 

Defensively, the vessel had similar capabilities to a cruiser, 160 VLS launchers, containing a mix of RIM-162 ESSM, RUM-139 VL-ASROC, UGM-109G AARGM and SM-2ER Block IVA, 6 x 21 RIM-116 RAM launchers, 8 Harpoon missiles, 2x triple tube Mk 32 SVTT systems, and 10x Goalkeeper CIWS. The structure was enhanced with kevlar in critical locations, and contained the most advanced electronics and radar the Imperium had at its disposal. 2 MQ-8C with APKWS missile pods would compliment the VIP transport helicopter, and provide for even further situational awareness around the yacht. It was unexpected of course that the vessel would travel alone, but Hoshiko was not one to take risks.

Layered Defense was the name of the game, and THAAD systems were spread among the Islands for ballistic defense. A total of five S-400 battalions would be spread throughout the territory, based on Kodiak Island, Kotzebue, King Salmon, Sand Point and Unalaska. Dutch Harbor Naval Operating Base and Fort Mears would continue to be restored, the irony was not lost upon the Empress that a location originally used to topple Imperial Japan would now give Imperium Japan to do the same to the Americas.

Layered Defense would be included here of course as well, THAAD and S-400 battalions hardlinked to the radar and sonar systems set up. regular ASW patrols would begin in earnest, regular sonobouy drops would ensure that there was no dark spots in the Imperium vision. The citizens began to enjoy the benefits of the Imperium, the advancements in technology were incredible, some even calling it magical. On the governmental side there was negotiations as to holding a formal referendum to legitimize the Imperium's ownership of the islands, it was expected to not be much of a difficult process due to the wealth the Imperium brought where ever it went. 

 

Chagos Archipelago 5/7

 

Further expansion and importation of rapidly deployed buildings continued, the intent was for Diego Garcia to provide for the resources for a base for 20,000 soldiers anywhere in the Indian Ocean within 5 days. an extended EEZ was established as a wildlife preserve, ensuring that fish populations had at least one safe locale to keep their numbers up.

 

Sakha Republic 4/7

 

Production, Production, Production. The Imperium's specialists knew how to bring up production, and the cost was nothing in comparison to the value of the resources. Rare Earth Metals, Diamonds, and Gold were all plentiful, and the Imperium would snatch all they could. Oil and Natural Gas were somewhat exploited, but the Imperium already had a glut of these and was exporting most of them anyway, so they were left non prioritized.

 

The Yakuts people were thankfully not one of the groups that made up the Mongolian hordes the Imperium put down. The Imperium would work towards establishing more support for the native population, essentially the opposite of what the russian government tended to do, they were an asiatic people and it was important to have them reminded of them to further the Pan-Asian concept the Imperium pushed so hard in internal propaganda.

Aleutians 7/7

 

A formal referendum was held, and as expected they chose to join the Imperium. The Aluetians would be considered an Autonomous District, similar to Macau or Hong Kong. Unlike those however, the Aleutians would be directly governed by Tokyo, and would have their own representative in the Diet. Construction across the first Pacific State of America continued, it was expected that Tierra Del Fuego and the Falklands would be administered alongside the Aluetians as the PSA.

 

 

Socotra 6/7

 

Referendums would begin, with construction all over the island chain continuing, the large Imperium presence upon the islands made some uncomfortable, but the soldiers were well disciplined and spent well, a behavior actually drilled home in basic training. When in "foreign" lands, Imperium soldiers were given slight pay increases and expected to spend the extra money to boost the local economy. This had three benefits, making Imperium citizens seem better off to local populations, ensuring more positive relationships with the local population, and most importantly, built up a repertoire with the local bartenders and shop owners, both of whom made for excellent intelligence assets. In territory the Imperium intended on annexing this also made the process go smoother since the Imperium was genuinely providing a benefit to the population.

 

Chagos Archipelago 6/7

 

There were no hearts and minds to win over in the Chagos, but there was still much construction to be done. Engineers continued to work, expanding the docks as well, more than three dozen container and RoRo ships would be based here now, several of whom began a journey to France to assist in the war efforts. It was expected the island chain would also make for a great refueling station on journeys to Africa, should the Imperium require it.  

 

Sakha Republic 5/7

 

The Soviet movements were noted, but left ignored for the most part, cooperation was far easier than trying to fight a war in siberia after all. The Yakuts were welcomed into the Imperium with open arms, imports of Imperium goods began at a rapid pace and were pushed heavily upon the local population, wanting to establish the clear benefits of Imperium life upon them. 

 

Mongolia

 

With the Imperium's neighbors quiet, movements would begin to include Mongolia as a protectorate, Drones would patrol the skies as a division of the Imperium Army made its way through the radioactive wasteland, The intensive nuclear exchanges had left the region utterly destroyed, and the grunts were rather annoyed at their assignment. Annexation would be a difficult thing to get passed the Empress, but the more extreme members of the Cabinet had other ideas to get around that.

 

Home Islands

 

With the additional cash flow coming from Aisu-shō and VAZE, the Empress's pet projects could be funded more freely. An expansion of the Toroinomokuba was ordered, at just over a billion dollars($1.2B est) per ship with its arsenal, the cost was incredible, but the ability to completely decapitate an opposing force before they are able to fire a shot was well worth the prohibitive cost. Another 40 ships was expected to be completed, with contacts allowing for that to double if deemed necessary.

Construction continued of course, it was not as though the province would be forgotten once it became a part of the Imperium. While not official, several search parties began searching the arctic wilds for Generalissimo, as it was his last known location.

The Referendum came back positively, The Imperium did not even have to fix the election. The improvements to the defenses of the nation and expansion of the local economy made things go smoothly. The defenses were never done of course, it was contemplated whether or not the region would be given the Malaccan treatment. The island now served as the main stop over for Imperium military movements to assist France.

The central location provided the Imperium with an all seeing eye of the Indian Ocean. Construction and expansion of the bases would continue until they fit the Imperium's standards. constant E-6 patrols would be flown from the Archipelago to further enhance the Imperium's vision of their second ocean.

Referendums would be planned, it was expected that the sucking up to the native populations would seal the deal, though the Russians within Sakha had witnessed the rapid growth of VAZE under the Imperium and it was expected that similar economic growth could be made in Sakha if they chose to join the Imperium.

As expected the referendum had made a record for percentage of population voted, nearly 96% of the Yakuts were in favor of the inclusion into the Imperium, and 63% of the ethnic Russians, making the vote more than enough to join the Imperium. The efforts to upgrade the rail lines continued, and OTH-B and redundant OTH-SW systems were fully operational, along with 55Zh6ME Radar would keep a watchful eye upon the borders, along with the standard S-400 and THAAD systems.
 

 

Mandeb Strait

 

The Imperium's army secured the lands on either side of the strait, with 15,000 troops for now acting as additional intelligence of the comings and goings through the Suez, ships would be monitored through the Imperium's various arrays to pinpoint their locations at any given time, allowing for unparalleled military observation within the Indian Ocean.

With the sudden collapse of both Malta and Greece, the Imperium's forces moving towards France left behind a contingent of 500 Imperium soldiers to protect the Suez Canal until such a time as France could return to stability.

Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand 1/7

 

Another outbreak of the White Plague had broken out in both Europe and close to home in Druk Yul. The Imperium was one of the few nations well equipped to handle the resurgence of the disease, MoG[Corp] had developed the cure for the original outbreak and resumed its production of the antivirus, with multiple companies in Singapore contacted to assist in the widespread production that would be required for the nearly 2 billion potential infected. Borders with Druk Yul would be closed, with checkpoints set up to ensure infected materials would not be allowed through, refugee camps would be set up in Indochina for those who were uninfected. 

Katsuro had a particular interest in the White Plague when he was younger, fascinated that the most powerful nation in the world had ended up allowing its world to die. Whether through arrogance or inaction, Tianxia had watched billions die and lost much of its territory. Learning from the past, Katsuro saw one benefit to the Plague returning, namely, by doing the exact opposite. The Imperium moved aggressively into the former SEATO protectorate of Indochina, retaking the Thai Canal Zone after the disappearance of Druk Yul's government.

 

Surveying teams would begin to explore the region, many governments had risen and fallen in the area and there could still be many secrets to find. Vaccinations were given out freely to the populations of Indochina, and the region's medical facilities would begin to be subsidized, allowing for widespread healthcare to ensure the Plague could not spread. It was going to be months before the Plague could be wiped out, but to ensure the Imperium had a base of operations to work from was key.

Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand 2/7

 

​With Europeans encroaching upon Asia once more, preparations were made for war yet again. The Thai Canal would be reinforced to the Imperium's specifications, rows of Type 94 naval guns would be mounted as was in the Malacca along the canal, letting passing vessels know the might of the Imperium stood watchful. The Coco Islands were retaken, left abandoned by Druk Yul, the Imperium would restore the OTH systems and reinforce the islands defenses with Imperium technology. The area was wealthy in manufacturing capability and it was simply a matter of changing the specifications of the facilities to suit the Imperium's needs. A heavy focus was put on transfer towards military electronics, but it was hoped that it could be returned to consumer electronics eventually.

 

Natural Gas made up the majority of Thai energy production, and the Imperium would begin to sell its massive stores at a discounted rate, not having much need of it. At the same time though, a switch to nuclear power was begun and expected to be completed within a decade. Censorship of the internet would continue, but with the Imperium's own instead of the native government. Conversations began with local governments as to their future, but more focus was put on closing the border with Druk Yul. Drones began regular patrols to all of Druk Yul's former territory. and movements of Northland forces was noticed fairly quickly. Imperium agents began to fund former Druk Yul military forces to revolt against northlandic occupation, with bounties put on the northland military.

 

Rice production was focused heavily in both Thailand and Vietnam, their climates perfect for growing. specialized strains were introduced, immune to rice blast and other common biological warfare agents. Phamacutical corporations also had a heavy interest in the region, multiple MoG[Corp] offices being setup within Indochina, with a Tower being constructed in Bangkok once more. It was a welcomed return for the company, the full history had been taught to the higher ups within the corporation and it was pleasing to return to their homeland.

Shanghai had worked with the Imperium to quell the plague within Druk Yul, and it was a time of reflection for Katsuro. A holographic representation of a human male towered over him, a rapid display of the symptoms from onset to death was displayed. The White Plague was one of the most lethal agents humanity had ever encountered, and one of the few he would never consider weaponizing. The Imperium continued to grow and the new provinces would add to the Imperium's breadbasket. It would allow the Imperium to begin exporting food to the rest of the world. The rail system in the countries would be upgraded and added to the Imperium's High Speed Rail, making a journey from Singapore to Sunochi possible in just 8 hours if desired. Enhancements to the electrical grid were also required and security was upgraded to meet the Imperium's specifications. Internet lines would also be upgraded to fiber to allow for the larger requirements of data transfer needed by Imperium Military.

 

Pacific Islands and Hawaii 1/7

 

With Hawaii gone silent, the Imperium stepped in to provide governance and assistance for the islands, already comfortable with the Imperium's leadership within the Pacific. Pearl Harbor would be established as a base of operations for the Imperium's 3rd fleet, until further discussion with the local governments could be held. Standard operating procedure would be followed, with Imperium OTH-B and OTH-SW systems being flown in, along with several 55Zh6ME radar systems to allow for early detection of steal aircraft. The further outreach into the South Pacific would be established to ensure no possible route for Northlandic aircraft or vessels to travel without the Imperium's knowledge. Additionally a slight expansion from the Galapagos would occur to provide a more secure beach head against enemy vessels through the Panama and Nicaraguan canals, not something the Empress or Katsuro had much belief would occur but with the war brewing in the Americas, anything was possible.

The four nations all spoke different languages, all had hundreds of years of historical differences, and yet they all had a common history as French Colonies. It was through this shared history the Imperium chose its own path in including the various peoples. Southern Thailand had been included within the Imperium for quite some time now, and the rest of the country had seen the rapid growth due to the funds the Imperium tended to put into its latest acquisitions. Laos, Cambodia, and VIetnam however did not have such a gift, and as such a different approach was taken. For Cambodia, Angkor was glorified, they were once kings, and by joining the Imperium they would be once more. Laos had coal, gold, bauxite, tin, copper and other metals to exploit, and the Imperium's work in the Northern Realms, as well as in Guangxi was touted as examples of what partnerships with the Imperium could accomplish. VIetnam was handled most delicately, and afforded the most capital to ensure popular opinion was in favor of the Imperium. Vietnam had never lost a war, and the Imperium had no interest in starting one. Military presence was kept to a minimum, and manufacturing capabilities began to be used. Oil production within Vietnam also resumed and added even more to the Imperium's excess supplies.

 

 

Pacific Islands and Hawaii 2/7

 

The outlying islands would be equipped with OTH-B OTH-SW and 55Zh6ME Radars as well, with minimal military being used upon them, since they were only strategically useful for A2/AD weaponry. Such weapons were imported, , LiaoSho missiles specifically, along with the standard embedded VLS launcher systems in place across the Imperium already. Hawaii on the other hand would find itself renovated, military upgrades were of course prioritized, but monuments of the former glory of Hawaii were begun to be constructed, including a Pyramid shaped Casino. The Imperium had an interest in the Old Gods, and brought their tastes to Hawaii, planned to be a center of the Pacific of the future. Additional facilities were also begun to be constructed to serve as a headquarters for a future Pacific Treaty if Her Imperial Majesty could ever get everyone in the same room and agreeing.

The Imperium had many tricks to maintain order and integration. What was strangest to outsiders was how light of a touch the Imperium had upon local governments. Economically was a different story, and advertisements for Imperium corporations numerous products would begin to sprout up as their offices began opening and factories began production. Small businesses would be encouraged so long as they had a level of preference for indigenous and Imperium goods. Vertical farming would allow for a large portion of the arable land would be turned into animal production, further feeding the Imperium. Getting the media on board with the government's programming was relatively easy with Imperium corporations simply buying them out. There was still a considerable amount of discontent upon the Net, but it was soon quelled with Imperium agents working to sow dissent among the ranks of separatists groups online and tracking the more persistent ones for... quiet removal.

 

The decision of a provincial was a difficult decision, the Khmer Empire and Siam held monarchs, and the idea of a Japanese holding these thrones did not sit well for some, but most of the population considered the figurehead positions to not be of much consequence, the Imperium had protected them for nearly four decades after all, and Japan certainly didn't seem like a nation oppressed by their Monarchy...

 

Pacific Islands and Hawaii 3/7

 

The Imperium and Hawaii had a very mixed relationship, the Imperium had originally been friendly towards the islands until they held a fascist government, which quickly soured relations. After the fascist government had disappeared, Tikal stepped in and the Imperium's warm relationship with them had ensured the islands stayed secure for decades. After several unsuccessful attempts at self governance the Imperium finally stepped in where Tikal had left off. Economically, the islands were already well linked to the Imperium and it was merely a matter of removing gasoline vehicles, and the Imperium's internal internet system being outfitted upon the island to allow for further security and much faster speeds than previous. The outlying islands began the same process, with work continuing on the various islands for their VLS launcher systems integrated into the layered radar systems to ensure every island within the Imperium's control had similar anti shipping, anti air, and missile defense capabilities as several cruisers at the very least. The costs of such a program were great, but made the Pacific Ocean the largest and safest Ocean in human history, for the Imperium and its allies anyway.

Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand 6/7

 

Cambodia and Laos would become the Khmer Republic, Thailand became Siam, and Vietnam remained as Vietnam. Three new "thrones" were created due to this, and Katsuro would have his first taste of true leadership, expanding the Home Islands grip upon its outlying territories. This move would not be official until the polls were completed, and there were several groups who were not happy with the idea. Strangely, they had trouble organizing protests, receiving spotty internet access and seemingly random text blockage. The groups supportive of the Imperium would find their coffers filled with funding from anonymous donors, and unsurprisingly receive better pricing for advertisements from the Imperium corporations that now owned the local media. Polling suggested numbers would be barely over 60% in favor of joining the Imperium, the minimum required for the vote. Eleventh hour promotion of the benefits of joining the Imperium would be expanded, noting the massive growth within Malaysia due to the Imperium's assistance.

 

Pacific Islands and Hawaii 4/7

 

The outlying islands were given the option of depopulation with the ability to move to an Imperium held island closer to the core territories, but if they elected to stay they would be afforded all the rights and privileges of an Imperium citizen, actual governance upon islands of less than 1,000 would be officially under the jurisdiction of Tokyo with elected "governors" from the local population, larger islands would maintain a level of self governance, with a shared representation within the Diet. Hawaii on the other hand would be granted full recognition as an independent state. Discussions were begun about possible inclusion of Hawaii, the Alaskan territories, and Tierra Del Fuego as the Pacific States of America.

The Indochina Kingdoms were completed, with 63% of the vote going to inclusion into the East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere. While it was a satisfactory number for inclusion, in reality it was closer to 40% of the total potential vote, with the majority of voting population ignoring the polls through apathy or membership to more independent factions wishing to remain more autonomous and not under Japanese rule. The Imperium would raise additional military forces from these new provinces, with the intent of securing the region for a more cemented rule. There were sporadic protests regarding the vote, but the leadership of the movements had been analyzed and were projecting to only last several weeks. 

 

To Kazuko though, entire project was to provide Katsuro with hands on learning experiences of subjugation of other lands, since he had so kindly added other annexations, this one he would be held personally responsible for. She trusted his choices in his of advisers, and had several of her personal guard spying on him. He noticed fairly quickly but allowed them to do their jobs, to an extent. He would have his hands full with ensuring pacification. Construction would be continuing for at least another 5 years to renovate and expand upon the capitals of the Three Kingdoms.

In Hawaii and the southern Pacific, there were much easier efforts to bring the islands into the Imperium's fold. Hawaii would become the Headquarters for the Imperium's entire Pacific Command, stretching from the Arctic to the Southern Ocean, the Imperium's intelligence would flow into this place, providing an unparalleled knowledge of the various satellites moving over the Pacific as well as the movements of surface and submarine movements. Incorporation came rather easily, with the more relaxed approach to governance was well suited for the islands.

The partitioning of the Imperium soon became clear to those in the cabinet, from the Indochina Kingdoms to the South and West would be Katsuro's to do with on equal power as that of Kazuko's from Canton to the North and the East. The two had gradually drifted from one another, Kazuko had been spending most of her time in the Pacific establishing the Pacific States of Americas, with Hawaii serving as its capital.

 

The eight stars represent the  main islands of Hawaii, as well as the eight provinces of the new state, Hawaii, Tierra Del Fuego, Falklands, Alaska, Galapagos, Cocos Islands, Polynesia, and Antarctica, with the center circle the rising sun of course, representing Japan as the central power of the Pacific. Kazuko had lost interest in the rest of the Imperium, now only interested in vacationing as an attempt to forget the traumatic events that had plagued her as of late. The cabinet was able to take over most of the governing duties for the rest of the Imperium, though she did plan for a high level diplomatic party to inaugurate Hawaii's entrance into the Imperium. Katsuro on the other hand took a far more active role, there was no country greater than his, and he would transform his new capital into a jewel bigger than any other.

Bangkok would be the first city to be constructed from the ground up with Imperium protocols, most other cities were reconstructed from the ruins of the original city, where Bangkok would diverge and become an entirely unique project. Smart Towers would become the standard civilian housing structure within the city. An Arcology with a capacity for up to 75,000 citizens per structure, the Smart Towers were constructed using the most advanced defensive construction techniques, minimizing blast damage to the structure and others around it, and able to fully shut itself off from the outside world. On a basement level would be a subway station, allowing citizens to travel from building to building without ever having to step outside.

The level of construction in the city was nearly unparalleled, drawing comparisons to the Japanese Miracle after the War of the Twin Chinas.

Preparations had to begin to welcome high level guests in Honolulu. Final arrangements for the party were handled personally by the Empress, whom had taken quite a liking to her new Yacht. Invitations would be forthcoming and it was expected to be an interesting event.

The Imperium had grown beyond measure, and while officially there was no state religion, Shinto was considered the defacto state religion even in the regions not ethnically Japanese. The Jingi-kan was quietly reestablished, and adjustments to the educational standards were done to further the belief that Her Imperial Majesty was a descendant of Amaterasu. New temples were constructed, most importantly the Seoul Shine, dedicated to Empress Hoshiko personally.

Bangkok, now seen as the second Capital, The City had quickly transformed from an average metropolis of 9 million, swelling to over 16 million by Katsuro's 18th birthday. Now updated, the city certainly reflected its new leadership in construction. While not reaching into the heavens as Seoul and Tokyo did, the city had a certain charm about it that would remind visitors of its origins, blended with the original highlights of the city, the various Wats and of course the Grand Palace, Katsuro's new home. The average citizen was not pleased with a Japanese child sitting upon their throne, but the overall changes were enough they didn't see a purpose in protests or rebellion, for now at least.

The Imperium's 2nd and 3rd fleets began to move towards the South Central Pacific, with various intelligence resources ascertaining the locations of military apparatus upon Northlandic Pacific holdings, along with the various RoRo and support ships required for a force of 40,000 marines.

 

1st fleet maintained its operations observing the Northlandic movements in the Western Indian, and the 4th fleet maintained its patrols of the Eastern Pacific, moving North from the Canal Zones to 400 miles off the coast of Southern California.

Japan

 

As expected, The Japanese Archipelago stands as the most advanced civilian sector in the entire Imperium, and the world. Honshu had received more than a hundred nuclear detonations over the past forty years through various conflicts, and its recovery serves as a reminder to the rest of the world that the Imperium will still stand, regardless of the force used against it. The billions spent to recover Honshu and the rest of Japan have been well spent, allowing for technologically superior cities. where normal cities use rapid transit as a way to lower vehicular traffic, the Imperium's largest cities use their rapid transit to provide their populations with the ability to never have to breath outside oxygen if they desire. Nearly every buildings had a subfloor devoted to connecting to the rapid transit system, either a proper station or underground tunnel connection.

 

Modifications to Japan's already strict building code created skyscrapers able to shrug off multiple missile strikes, up to 747 size for the largest of structures. Civilians have access to incredibly advanced bionics and artificial replacements for any part of their body, with military versions available for police and military use. Japanese citizens belong primarily to the State Shinto religion, acknowledging Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Hoshiko, as a descendant of Amaterasu.

 

Tokyo, an Alpha+ city, and potentially the only current Alpha++, is an economic and cultural center, the capital of the Imperium. Estimates put tourism figures somewhere just over 100 million visitors a year to the greater metropolitan area, making up almost  two thirds of the total visitors to Japan.

Joseon

 

Joseon has seen significant recovery since the destruction of the most recent Asian conflict. The northern regions of have been slower to recover, due to their proximity to Manchuria. Soil rejuvenation projects are expected to continue for at minimum three more years to fully restore all North Joseonese territory soil to pre war radiation and toxicity levels. Southern Joseon has seen a full reintegration into the Imperium rail network, and the region has seen a restoration to its civilian sectors, with the majority of Imperium artificial limbs and other various high technology items being researched and developed in the South, Seoul is considered by many to be of as valuable to the Imperium's identity as even Tokyo.

Joseon has maintained a high standard of living, on par with Japan for nearly the entirety of the Imperium's existence. The war of course set them back, this past year the parity was reached once more. Coinciding with the significant increase of imports of precious metals from VAZE,  It is expected to maintain or increase its economic standing for the next five years, currently it stands as the fourth largest economy within the Imperium.

One of the perks of the Alaskan territory was controlling sizable breeding populations of Bald Eagles, and due to their range consisting of the entirety of North America they had alternative purposes for the more creative of Imperium scientists. Experiments were begun to control a bald eagles flight pattern, with the goal of essentially turning the bird into a drone aircraft. A simple surgery could install several pounds of high explosive within the bird's body, creating an undetectable weapon against enemy armor as well as affording the Imperium with a unique assassination device. A scientist was asked his opinion as to why they were doing such experiments, and his reply was reported to be "Because it's a fucking bald eagle filled with explosives, it is surely the most American weapon in the history of humanity, and more importantly, fucking awesome."

With the collapse of all french governments, the Imperium's interest in European politics had waned and preparations for withdrawal had already begun, but contact with Northlands had been restored and with that, the Imperium had an interest in balancing Europe once more. Diplomatically the Imperium would begin to reach out to other nations within the European Sphere, the Americas had become quieter as well so it was left up to the European powers to solve the Imperium's current dilemma.

French overseas territories within the Indian and Pacific Oceans are now subject to Imperium rule. With Australia and New Zealand's collapse, it is clear that the world's Oceans have fallen to our responsibility. Imperium strategic points of interest upon Australia are now  restored to the Imperium as well. The Greater East Asian Imperium Co-Prosperity Sphere will maintain order within the world during these troubling times.

The Imperium notices the tensions within Europe regarding the sudden and surprising collapse of the French state. It is within all of our best interests to work together to maintain order regarding global economic trade and ensure that any chaos caused by the collapse of the French nation is minimized. I offer all of you the ability to set up an international coalition to ensure the security of not only the french state, but the rest of our world. The League of Nations failed, the United Nations failed, and The Sovereign Initiative backed United Nations failed even more spectacularly, followed by the well intentioned League of Nations, which has come close to failure once again, and without your assistance will surely fail as well. What are we chosen by our respective nations to do? Grow our own Empires, or seek a better world for all who inhabit it? Evidently there was some sort of time dilation affecting the world yet again, but the Imperium was more focused upon the heavens above than the potential war within Europe. Imperium reclamation of Tikal structures had continued for over a decade now, and the Imperium once again was reaching out past the Asteroid belt. Upon Earth though, preparations for a potential long term engagement continued with the French holdings being rapidly integrated within Imperium governance, the transition continued smoothly, and the Imperium could only wait for another nation to respond to his request for a diplomatic solution.
