Possessing the fabled Western Army Group in the conspicuous absence of Emperor Shizi, Li was the most powerful warlord, some say Khan in Asia. Envoys were sent between him and the Kazakh state requesting diplomatic ties as well as recognition of Li Xin's Claim as Paramount Leader of Tianxia, not yet ready to try and claim the title Emperor from the Regency Council in Nanjing. Artillery: 5,000 2s19 Msta, 300 Scud missile launchers (soviet model) Infantry smalls arms: AK-47, PKM, RPG7, Makarov handgun, Dragunov SVU, Bizon submachine gun. In a short amount of time, the newly founded Kazakh state has amassed a large army. News Head of State, Joseph Gurlan has announced that with the founding of the new state comes the responsibility of maintaining and preserving the Kazakh people. Heavily focusing on the military, Gurlan hopes to have a fully staffed army by the end of the month. Efforts to kickstart the economy have proven slow, much of Kazakhstan's natural resources have been farmed heavily by former super powers controlling the territory, oil wells and mines are currently working to get back into full production after almost a year of inactivity due to the territory being unaligned. Much needed jobs are being filled by the rather poor population of the federation, Gurlan plans to introduce over 700,000 jobs within the end of the year. Meanwhile several Kazakh reps are reaching out to other countries to sell product. Gurlan oversees military exercises Extensive training exercises are being conducted in the Southern reach, over 150,000 troops are actively involved in exercises to hone their abilities. Everything from basic assault protocols, and defense contingencies from all neighboring powers. Gurlan personally oversaw various divisions during the exercise stating he firmly believes the army is capable of keeping the state safe. A member of the Kazakh military firing his AK-47 at a target downrange, thousands of infantry are being trained for defense strategies. The push to being revitalized infrastructure to the entire country was approved by parliament after gurlan appealed for months to get the necessary funding. Kazakh Oil Inc. brings in their new CEO Dimitri Tyrell up to speed as the company plans to expand oil drilling and fracking operations to double production. Kazakh parliament passes heavier taxes on foreign imports Draft is legalized, all men in Kazakhstan at 17 must register for draft. Bill to recognize Islam as a state religion is turned down. In a few months Kazakhstan will hold it's second parliamentary elections and a week later elections for head of state. Elections were suppose to take place within a month after the nation was founded but slow progress with setting up necessary infrastructure and the neighboring civil war in tianxia stalled them. After making sufficient progress with getting running power to most of the country and setting up new water treatment programs. The time has come to install an elected government selected by the people. Kazakh government weighs in on establishing relations with Russia and tianxia. T-80 tank companies within the Kazakh military reporting various problems with the Kazakh model stating while similar to the Russian model, suffers numerous engine problems. Thousands are believed to be dead from exposure and farms are reporting swaths of livestock lying dead for miles leaving the agricultural sector crippled. Marshall law has been declared in the more secluded regions and parliament is struggling to get emergency services up to speed. Gurlan has postponed elections and ordered the military to carry out humanitarian operations. The Kazakh market is currently in free fall as well. Reestablishment of critical infrastructure and getting medical aid to the isolated region have been a top priority. Several Kazakh companies are underway to getting back on track however the tenge continues to lose value due to poor trade internally and externally. Despite the economic decline, the Kazakh military has gone forward with establishing new cruise missile sites and new forward command posts along the southern border. Russia is not blind to the troubles of our neighbor to the south and therefore would like to offer 100 million rubles in foreign aid as well as preferable trade status through the trans-Caucasus canal once the war in Caucasia is over. With several people wanting new leadership, Gurlan has been an anchor for the Federation during these difficult times and still has several key supporters within the Federation. Plans to cut costs by shrinking the military were approved, larger trade tariffs were placed on foreign products and reports are coming through that several Kazakh companies are ready to roll out their products but state that the ongoing conflict in the Caucasus are delaying mass shipments via the Caspian Sea.
