RE: Exercise Daybreak

Greetings,

As the Greater East Asian Imperium Co-Prosperity Sphere is celebrating its first decade of being allied to Tikal and to France, we invite your nation to participate in an allied maritime warfare exercise to be held in the Atlantic Ocean, as well as ground combat exercises to be held in France under the name Exercise La Jour de Gloire. Exercises will be used as a trust building exercise between the Imperium's allies, and ensure future integration of our combined forces goes smoothly. While a few of you have not had interactions before, we hope to ensure that our allies get along to work towards my vision of a world in which we will not need such weapons.

Signed,
-Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Hoshiko, Sovereign of Japan and Joseon, Daughter of Amaterasu, Prophet of Takamagahara, Grand Cordon of the Supreme Order of the Chrysanthemum, Grand Cordon of the Order of the Paulownia Flowers, Grand Cordon of the Order of the Precious Crown, Grand Cordon of the Order of the Sacred Treasure.

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd fleets already near Hawaii, would begin making their way to the Panama Canal, where they would continue their journey to meet with their allied forces in the North Atlantic.  Military flights would continue near round the clock over the next several days, with a total of 40,000 Imperium marines, 50,000 Army being sent to France. Great Lakes Republic would be contacted to transport ship containers with 4,400 Type 89 IFVs, 4,000 Type 96 APCs, 1200 Type 10 MBTs, 800 Type 88 Surface-to-Ship Missile systems, with 24 additional rockets per system, 800 M901 MELs equipped with MIM-104 PAC 3 Aikoku-shas, along with the required equipment to use them of course, 300 Multiple Cradle Launcher systems with 4 sets of spare ammo, 600 M110 howitzers, 800 Type 99 155 mm self-propelled howitzers, 4,000 Komatsu LAV and 800 Type 87 SPAAGs, along with the standard additional ammunition required for the aforementioned vehicles, as well as that which the ground forces would require. Additionally 5 Squadrons of Mitsubishi F-22 Mōkins, 4 squadrons of Mitsubishi F-15J/Ks, and 4 Squadrons of F-2s would be participating in the event, hopping across the Pacific and Americas before jumping the Atlantic to France.

Classified:

The Republican Navy has graciously accepted the request of the East Asian Imperium, and has provided basic transportation for equipment to participate in the joint military exercises. Republican Atlantic Fleet Groups remain on high alert, and are monitoring the areas designated for use in the war games, to ensure no civilian or uninvolved vessels wander within the bounds of the activities.

Edit: OOC notation of the number of ships this entails. The Republic's Atlantic fleets are 2 carrier strike groups, 2 surface action groups, 2 expeditionary strike groups, the Atlantic Coastal Fleet, 2 additional cruisers, frigates, and battleships, and 3 submarines.

From: Plains Federation Secretary of War

Salutations,

The Plains Federation's military is pleased to be able to accept this invitation to exercise with the great nations of the world, and will send representative units over in all due haste. We look forward to proving ourselves among you.

Signed,
Martina Williams, Plains Federation Secretary of War
Master Sergeant, PFA, Ret.

The First Fleet, stationed in the Caribbean, moves towards the North Atlantic RV point, with the exception of the LHD San Antonio, currently detached on SAR ops in the wake of the hurricane which had hit the Gulf coast in recent weeks. The Federation, Enterprise, and Defiance battlegroups took the lead, separated by a hundred or more kilometers, each surrounded by shoals of AEGIS-equipped cruisers and destroyers, and silent, watchful SSNs prowled beneath the surface.

Meanwhile, six divisions of the Federation Army made ready to participate in the ground exercise, bringing with them their complements of Sesks, Abrams, Patriots, THAADs, IFVs, Iron Dome units, artillery, and helicopters, et cetera ad nauseam. When asked how much of anything they were bringing, the only number given was "enough".

From the Office of the Empress

While France is not entirely comfortable with the list of nations we are inclined to accept them, as friends of our friends should be counted as friends, at least for the purposes at hand. France agrees to host these exercises and will dedicate any amount of her forces necessary to see that they are conducted properly.

Signed,

Her Majesty, Empress Jeanne de LaQueu

"The Palaven Government expresses interest in safeguarding the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean, both sharing American continental borders, mostly in deterring or thwarting foreign imperialists. The Government hereby accepts the invitation to join the Exercise Daybreak Operation and has committed 80% of its naval armada that is being routed to the rendezvous point in the North Atlantic."
