French-Carthaginian Talks

Two nations as close as ours, and with such potential for trade, should never be so long as this without some manner of diplomatic communication. France wishes to open up a talk with a representative of the Carthaginian government over the possibility of having closer trade relations and possibly some manner of military relationship.

Upon receiving the invitation a formal acceptance would be sent back. Only a week after this reply was sent the Carthaginian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Alfarsi would arrive in Paris for the talks.

Since the normal driver was off on her first legitimate diplomatic mission, there was a new one on the Number One VIP, and his name was Victor Evernette, and he met the new diplomat with the utmost of courtesy, "Hello monsieur, welcome to Paris." he said. The French government had been notified of the mixup in the Carthaginian minister's mix-up in the location of the French capital but had somehow failed to contact and redirect the plane due to some sort of mechanical failure, "Unfortunately, the French capital is in Orleans, which is about an hour's drive from here." he opened the door, "I'm authorized to make it a thirty minute drive if you so wish."
