Upon acceptance of the invitation a date would be sent to the Yugoslav king. On that day, much like when the French ambassador was received, a large ceremonial parade had been arranged while the guest of Russia would be provided a tour by the most beautiful places in the city until eventually reaching the Winter Palace.

For the most part, Belojevic kept his silence while he was guided through the city. Admittedly, the city was beautiful. Well, what he was shown anyway. The Kralj knew that it was standard at the time to essentially showcase a capital's 'inherent' beauty, a notion that he simply disagreed with from his contemporaries. Thus, he kept his trap shut while being polite and enjoyed the scenery for what it was.

The Serb noble did not have much experience with the north-eastern Slavs that were Russians, even back in his heyday. So this would be an exercise in learning of the Russians properly as well as creating a bond between Slavs that he hoped would be mutually beneficial.

Overall, he believed that this meeting would end on a positive note, barring any sudden break of diplomatic propriety or a situation being sparked. And so the Yugoslavian King hoped for the best while he prepared for the worst before his tour finally reached the famed Winter Palace.
