False Emperor Claims the Commonwealth

portrait_daniel_shays.jpg

LEXINGTON- Recently, news circulating comes from the town of Lexington, Massachusetts, as a man named Daniel Wordsworth claims to be the king of the Kingdom of Massachusetts, and that the Commonwealth's claims are false and irrelevant. This man, nicknamed the "False Emperor", is now attempting to build up weapons to defeat the Commonwealth.

As he has lately been very public about what he is doing, he has made it clear that he intends to "drive out the imposters and make sure they understand that I am the leader of this nation." but, interestingly, he obviously has no clue where he is going to recover these arms to create open rebellion. Unfortunately, all of the recent war going on involving the Commonwealth has made certain storage areas of weapons unable to have worthy security, meaning that if he discovers this information, he could recover the arms he needs.

Newly-elected Senator Johnathon Kennedy recently, when asked by the press about Wordsworth, said, "Wordsworth is someone who doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt," implying that the government may take action against him.

Soviet Union Brings Fear, Commonwealth Alliances

l3hXOxynzPw.jpg

CHAMPLAIN- Recent advancement of the Soviet Union within Europe has made the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as all of its Western Allies feel uncomfortable. Their addition of East Germany as a satellite has created a feeling of a threat to many nations national security and in turn has created the two sides, which are Soviet states within the Warsaw Pact, and many former Allied Powers during World War II. Whether the Cold War will lead to a new World War or not seems to be the deadly question.

Although a new War would be disastrous for both sides, many politicians, including British politician Winston Churchill agree that a new War should be planned and executed if need be. President Percival Proctor Baxter has stated that he does not support the Soviet Union, and is willing to go through a war if the other Western Allies agree it must be done for the security of Capitalism and Democracy through the world.

Currently, it is quite obvious that "Operation Unthinkable", led by the United Kingdom, will likely occur, and that a Third World War, with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts being in its first, could become deadly and important to the future of our country.

The President's Speech, European War Begins

YakxDg8.jpg

CHAMPLAIN- The recent tensions between Soviets and the Allies have reached an all-time high, and the Commonwealth's recent intervention on the subject has led to our requirement to take action. Fear that a War is brewing has led to President Percival Proctor Baxter to make an official announcement on the subject of the war, as war in Europe begins.

The President recently called for an immediate speech over radio, in which he said that he hoped to avoid entering a war. "I would like the people to know how important it is to me to avoid going to war over this, however I hope that we may do whatever is necessary to protect ourselves and our allies. These times call for our measures to be very careful, and that we must tread lightly." There is some rumor that the Soviet Union has threatened the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with use of atomic bombs, however nobody has mentioned anything as of yet.

While we be careful, Great Britain and France have launched attacks against the Soviet Union in Europe in hopes of ending their wide spanning influence. Titled "Operation Unthinkable", they have begun attacks on East Germany as a result. Apparently, however, the Western Allies are requesting that the Commonwealth offer its nuclear technology recovered from the Manhattan Project to the Allies, however it has not been confirmed whether or not the Commonwealth will supply the Allies. The only battle fought this far has been the Battle of Berlin.

World at War, Commonwealth Faces Russian Threat

CHAMPLAIN- The recent fighting in Europe has now been officially classified as a world war pegged the name "World War III." Henceforth, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has managed to maintain neutrality in the conflict, however problems continue to rise including threats from the Soviet Union.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, a very capitalist nation, has been under threats from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, also known as the U.S.S.R., including bombing threats. President Baxter made an announcement on the topic last Friday where he declared this the "end of the world" unless Massachusetts defended itself. It is expected that he will ask Congress for a Declaration of War sometime this week. With election day coming closer, President Baxter will likely be looking for anything that will rise his approval ratings to prepare for potential re-election.

Champlain Bombed, Defense Plans Fail

tumblr_n5o7bcDvlo1sdwrwdo1_500.jpg

SPRINGFIELD- Breaking news comes to Springfield today as it is discovered that the capital city of Champlain is under aerial bombardment from the Warsaw Pact, most likely the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Some pictures of the city were recovered, where you could see the rubble and destruction across the city, which is as good as destroyed. Whether or not the government officials, specifically President Baxter, made it out alive and okay is unknown, therefore until then the country is de facto anarchy.

At about five o'clock in the morning yesterday, December 15, the city of Champlain was attacked. Today was the day the bill for the declaration of war on the Warsaw Pact was to take place following large amounts of support from the people of Massachusetts. Military personnel was already on watch around the city, and were to arms quickly after the first bomb went off. Unfortunately, they were unable to withstand the firepower of Soviet forces. Soviet soldiers marched through the rubble around eight o'clock, invading the city. It is unknown how many soldiers invaded Champlain, however they controlled the city until about midnight, when they left, taking the survivors with them. Fortunately, some escaped, however the numbers are few.

More information will be given as it becomes available.
