arentak
Eight years of one's life dedicated deeply here Some pleasure is gained its transient I fear People who breath and people who speak and who you may touch are those you must seek. People who type and people who pose People who bluster please avoid those Seek out true love however far it may be Not imaginary love roleplayed by others and thee Seek out the love that was made just for you Marry her or him and collect your just due And in perfect union and in conjugal bliss know that in Bob nothing is amiss No silly wars no bad tech trade no english abuse no stupid raid will matter at all to your rich and full life When you fill your nights with your adoring wife Edited September 9, 2014 by arentak

saxasm
You managed to distract me from my studies for half an afternoon to write this. I suppose it is mostly my fault, really. I fluttered and flew, was as free as can be. The light I had found was a glorious torch, the summit of all I could possibly want. Its power was great - it was all I could see, and all I could ever desire to be near. But then, in the darkness which I had ignored, a light did appear and was shewn unto me, and slowly it filled all the sky with its light. Its warmth and its life was like nought in the world, the light I had loved was like death next to thee. The sun might be far out of reach to my flight, but reaching a lamp is no good if its light is dead. I shall rather be striving than free. Also, congratulations on your anniversary. Ernsters
On behalf of myself and myself alone, happy anniversary OBR. The rogues and the raiders, many have I seen Since my first day here I've meant to keep my record clean. I've fought and I've bled for causes felt true. To defend the weak, the meek, my allies and you. Both warmonger and neutral I've led those lives, to take on a role many despise. I call as I see, I am blunt or verbose I overstep my bounds, sometimes I suppose. I think and I ponder, find no solace or heaven as I wonder the meaning of article eleven. "11. Will provide knowledge, advice and aid in reasonable measure as requested." "Aid" it reads, "as requested" it says, What request must be made to receive aid from a "friend"? A friend is a person, trusted and true they do what is right for them and for you. Secrets are nothing, love is the key. For without love, what friends can we be? Perhaps I am ignorant, perhaps I am dull I remember a time when allies weren't null. But now as time passed and ideas come old, sometimes an enemy is better, than a friend who's turned cold. The Zigur
Our glory was tainted with humiliation and defeat when Supernova stood up to resist, the history of dignity is wide awake, it is writing stories of triumph You are the definition of Will when the word is employed, my sword hails your fall in every battle, every soul in my alliance embraces resistance, wont settle for less than glory Never bowed to humiliation, never bargained, we triumphed despite their hate and aggression, let the whole free world see how glory is made in merger of sovereignty // My beloved ones I listened to your message, which was rich with splendour and faith You are as you say, men of God on the Battlefield A true promise you are, and our upcoming victory you are You are from the mountains of the sun, mightier than the wind My loved ones! Because of you the nations will be liberated, because of your fist and passion, our home and honor will stand protected The builders of civilization you are, and the awakening of values are you, and you are immortal, just like the immortality of cedar trees! You are the glory of our alliance, you are our true leaders, you're the crown our heads you are, and our cavaliers you are My loved ones I kiss the nobility of your feet, which grants honor to the honor itself, the feet that re-implanted the honor of our land, and do not stumble or shake Because of you, we will change the universe, and destiny will obey Because of you, we will build a better tomorrow, move on, and succeed

Shaka Zulu
Burning bridges ascend upon a world in a trance. Few understand with an abundance of false pleasures in hand. A few doves fly, is that peace. Shots are heard, they die. Not a mortal soul cries. I try,but I'm hungry can I get a piece. An Angel is sad, "they're dead", she said. It's morbid, I know. Kind of insane like the rain that trickles from my brain. It comes from the Angels above that are tearing blood. Dripping to my face. They say hell comes after fire and brimstone. Well he'll is here. The stone of brim must have been thrown into another zone. A place of television fantasies or such bull. Now I envy weedheads, wish I could get a pull. Take me away Mrs Calgon. A Nuclear wasted ocean boils. Holding a coiled serpent, I think I'll dive in. I'm done.
Willems
"The hunting pack, hardly a literal fact, nor free from fiction. If it were true fiction, I would love it so, for then it would be a release, not a burden. However, it is a burden, plain and simple. Forever there, with their soulless nature. Forever judging, by the rules they hold so dear. Like a wolf howling in the night, for some this sound is brushed off ever so simply. For me however, with every howl I long more for solitude. Away from the pack. For whenever I'm around, they tear at my throat. With no howl, I cannot fight back. So forever I must roam, in search of solitude and freedom, for then and only then may I stand against the never ending hunt. " As am not really one for writing poetry, I'm not even sure if this constitutes a poem. Anyway, congrats on your 8 years! Here's to many more! Partisan
Congratulations, OBR. As a tribute to your alliance, and to show that I too, know how to rhyme two words (THREE, EVEN! :P)... here a small contribution. Something just occurred to me! Our numbers near infinity, crammed in close proximity We live in anonymity Because we fear That divergence from the average population leads to frustration and irritation Inevitable isolation This will to be anonymous, to me feels rather ominous Perhaps you feel the same So let’s refuse compliance by signing an alliance of perpetual defiance We’ll enter a state of joint isolation Perhaps mankind’s greatest creation Because you’ll be you and I’ll be me While we set fire to the grey- mass infestation. Dre4mwe4ver
Happy Anniversary, OBR! o/I think I'll partake this time. Here's my submission of poetry. Whether it be good poetry, though... I'll leave you to be the judge of that. We all fight the same war, but not all of us will make it.I wonder if it means more to have a code or to break it.I don't want to just hold it, if it'll never be tested.Like empty words loaded until they're contested.I drew a line in the sand, but that only confirmedThat I could cross it unplanned, and I only returnedJust to brush her aside, like it didn't even matter. But somewhere deep inside, a part of me could shatter.Try to cling on to humanity, like I'm more than a beast.Stone face comes easily, like I'm bothered the least. But being a man doesn't make me any less of a monster,And not giving a damn doesn't change that I lost her.So, I don't even care if I'm one of the few that'll make it.The rules are still there, just let me be the one to break it.
