The Confederacy calls itself the spiritual successor to the old Confederated States of America and vows to uphold our ideals and beliefs in this world. We acknowledge that some of the ideals of the old C.S.A were of unethical origin and value such as the use and keeping of slaves and we can assure everyone that the Confederacy will not be following these same practices at any time. We also understand it being strange that we call ourselves the Confederacy of America when our land is Mexican however, many of the settlers in this land come from the southern states of America and most now class themselves being more American than Mexican and thus why the name of America was chosen instead of choosing Confederacy of Mexico. We do and always will call ourselves Americans and will proudly continue to do so until our final days. Currently the Confederacy of America calls the provinces of Chihuahua, Durango and Coahuila as part of the nation along with a select area of the province of Sinaloa, roughly thirty five percent of the land as worked out. The current government for the Confederacy is a Confederal Republic with non-partisan democracy where the people shall vote on the laws proposed by the ruling President and other members of government before being either passed or rejected. The current President is Joseph C. Frank and the Vice President is Richard M. Jackson. Having only just formed together the security of the Confederacy is provided by a mix of national police forces and civil militia. Though lightly equipped and only possessing the most basic of training it is more than enough to provide our young nation with the security it needs as we are not seeking to antagonize any other nations. One of the first plans for the Confederacy is to form a unified and fully functioning military for additional security. We hope the nations of the world and our more closer neighbors will welcome us into the world and we hope to open amiable relations with all. Thank you. Nostalgia for such a criminal state cannot be tolerated. The removal of Mexican culture from Mexican territories is also incredibly concerning, and is reminiscent to when slave-owning Americans mass-immigrated into Texas and declared it a separate republic from Mexico during the 1800s. The five step plan is detailed below and is available for viewing by the local population and by members of the global community as well. The Five Step Plan: Step One: Create national currency. Step Two: Form and maintain a national armed service consisting of the three main military branches. Step Three: Construct and complete nation wide rail network. From now on the Confederated States of America Dollar is the nationally accepted currency and all current and future banks and businesses will have to use this for their transactions. Government workers are looking into working out the correct and favorable exchange rates for foreign currencies to our own. Within the militia forces currently enforcing security through out the nation a number of changes and procedures are being brought into line. Firstly a standardized dress uniform is being designed for all standing members to wear when not in fatigues. This dress uniform is based off the grey uniforms of the old Confederated States of America military and many have already expressed their agreement with the choice. While currently the militia forces are semi-autonomous units lead by untrained commanders a scheme is being put in place for select men and women to attend to be giving officer training. This will give these officers proper training and responsibilities that comes along with it but also increased prestige and pay. Perhaps we can work out an offer where the Confederacy purchases equipment in small amounts over time and if possible may be able to offset some of the cost by trading to the Imperium in shipments of raw materials? Seeing this advanced vehicles from the Imperium many factory owners in the Confederacy would put forward requests to adapt some of their factories towards producing military equipment. In other news recruitment and training had been progressing well and the militia that had been guarding the Confederacy had been formed into a professional standing army of fifty thousand active soldiers. Equipped with a standardized uniform and equipped with small arms from the Imperium of Japan they provided a solid core from which the Confederate Army could build upon. Titled the Fair Gender Rights at Work Law this law now makes it an illegal offence to pay any employee a higher wage than another employee who does the same job title on the conditions of their gender. In simple terms this means that all employees regardless of their chosen gender will have to be paid the same amount of wages as anyone else who works in the same job role.
