I really think that calling it NPO's Apathy Report is quite wrong. Considering that GeniusInc started this in IRON, and also considering the fact that he's only been in NPO for maybe two weeks, I find your statement invalid.

He has stated many times that he is biased towards NPO. Would be hard to make a podcast that had no bias at all.

A truly wonderful program which gloriously expands on the critically acclaimed written version. I found the best listening results occurred after turning off my volume. I could not recommend this program highly enough.

Wow - even in vocal still can't resist that trail-off cry about Rey "escaping reps" .. lol

Is that what he says about me? I couldn't get past the first four minutes.

Tywin, I'll just say that it's very rare that somebody makes it excruciatingly painful for me to try and hear about myself. Edited by Neo Uruk

I think I sliced a bit more than just half off their largest nation. Under the LPH Gov proposal for peace, which I've agreed to, we all peace out and go our separate ways once Rey hits ZI. So all the tech deals Rey does before he hits ZI just extends the war for the rest of his alliance, which is fine with me.

Limitless Nexus has only grown stronger during the war, so how long it continues doesn't bother us.

That's fair enough. I suppose Genius doesnt represent NPO's viewpoint, but at least to counter the mainstream media, I present a fair and balanced perspective.

DBDC -
"They continue in their aggression continuously." - It's like poetry.
"They don't respect civilisation." - You credit this community as being civilised.

Don't be mistaken, DBDC - love them, hate them, or collaborate with them in the hope they don't turn on you - are still playing 'the game'. They're just doing it in a different way. So far it has been very effective.

There's a certain type of gamer who tries to play every game involving guns as if it were Call of Duty or other mega-simple FPS games. Tywin is like that guy, but with CN.

Link contains some pretty severe language. Edited by Neo Uruk

I literally laughed out loud through that whole segment, and the bolded line is the main reason why.

I think what he might've missed is that Vox Populi, Karma and the end of NPO's reign did not usher in a golden age of civilization. Not that it didn't change things, some things for the better, but a lot of people got caught up in believing that we would have a real moralist utopia after that. When really it was about revenge and decentralizing the web (aka destroying civilization).. not that things were really ever that civilized. It just used to be sugar-coated. The fact that is was rotten at the core is what made the Karma coalition possible.

Even though FEAR fought for NPO's side in that war, we were happy to see NPO finally fall. We knew they deserved it. We fought for NPO side because that's where our allies were (TPF/UPN), and the self-rightous rantings of some naive moralists on Karma's side on the OWF made the decision easier. We are not surprised by the aftermath of Karma.

Everything. Must. Die.

Ironically, DBDC is finishing what you claim to have had a hand in starting.

I did not fight in Vox Populi as a moralist, but as a Francoist. I had hoped that perhaps the New Polar Order would usher in a new era of stability, but in the chaos that came with the Karma war chaotic elements prevailed. I am not anti-Hegemonic, I am anti-Imperialist... Hegemony in the CN sense was a Francoist terminology that Vladimir introduced, which had Leninist real-world roots.

The later Hegemony was a divergence from Francoist Thought and came closer to outright Imperialism, which I oppose as much as I oppose lulzisim.

Wow, you were so far off the mark. No one gave a damn about Francoism, and post-Karma we gave even less of a damn. Until you brought it up recently, I had almost forgotten about it entirely. Be careful you don't damaged stability even more by encouraging what you think will bring stability. (Not that anyone wants stability, I've heard many more complaints of there not being ENOUGH war)

Guy, when you get up in the morning, say any of your buzz-words in a random order, 50 times over (or until you reach the climax of your day, whichever comes first):

Moralist, lulzisim, francoist, francoism, stability, global, hegemony, imperialist, imperialism, bourgeoisie, etc.

Then, give it a rest.
