Kuber
I joined TE in round 31 and enjoyed it thoroughly. I am surprised to see only 288 members registering as yet. Come on guys, I know there are many among you who enjoy TE as much maybe even more than I do. Lets do our best to promote TE atleast among our SE friends. Without critical numbers TE is certain to die off. It is upto us to try and prevent it.

Kinez133
Whenever I ask anyone from SE to join TE they look at me like: -snip- Edited August 14, 2014 by Andromeda Filter evasions are not permitted
Auctor
Then if anyone actually gets people to join from SE, they're evil and trying to ruin everything.

eejack
Can't be bothered. Many of us play SE because you don't have to watch constantly. However I would think you would want less players in TE - it makes 'winning' easier.
Kurdanak
However I would think you would want less players in TE - it makes 'winning' easier.I'd much, much rather have a lot more players and win nothing at all than have a lot less players and win everything. I play TE for the fun of it, not for the silly donation rewards.

trs4ece
If everybody convinced one person to at least try TE, we'd build our numbers very quickly. I was able to convince an SE player to join TE several rounds ago and we even brought in someone who had never played SE before. He's stuck around for three rounds now :) Just grab some RL CN gear to take with you to work/class and hope it baits someone into asking about it. Kurdanak
A big reason why War Doves grew so quickly is because we actively recruited from SE. I make a thread nearly every round advertising War Doves to my SE alliance, the GPA, and I also advertise the GPA to every academy graduate. Because of this, we have dozens of players who almost certainly wouldn't be playing otherwise. :awesome:The moral of the story is - advertise TE to your SE alliances! \o/EDIT: trs4ece has an awesome point as well - I'm honestly tempted to have someone design shirts for War Doves or for the Green Protection Agency, with the profits going to paying for forum hosting and such. :) Edited August 14, 2014 by Kurdanak

King William
Some were not expecting the server to be back up so quickly. I sure wasn't. I wouldn't be in as early as I am if someone didn't tell me.Also to those saying 'recruit', that's always a thing. I don't think it's really a new thing now. If War Doves really is actively recruiting (sucessfully) from GPA though, good on them. You could say a big part of that is they don't pay as much attention to SE so they might have more time to throw at TE. I know when I would try to get my SE alliance in TE (over the years), they'd often be too busy with the lately SE war.
moonpie
Presidential and I have started up a new alliance here in TE bringing along a few players with us. :)
