By the time the Persian fleet reached the Andaman Sea, It was clearly visible to the Imperium assets in the region, A single Mitsubishi MQ-9 Karitoriki would be sent to assess the massive radar signature. The Persian Fleet continued on it's present course, until contacted by the Japanese Fleet. "Admiral, we are receiving a dispatch from the Imperium of Japan. They are requesting our identification." Admiral Behdur rubbed his chin, "Interesting. Place the Fleet into the proper formation, and I want targets identified and targetted. These Japanese have been rather aggressive, and I don't want to take any chances."

The various AEGIS ships began to track and acquire targets. Activity on board the Persian carriers picked up speed as well. Boeing EA-18G Growlers were placed into the air; after which, they would begun to full spectrum jamming with their AN/ALQ-218 and ALQ-99 high and low-band tactical jamming pods. SH-60B Seahawks , equipped with magnetic anomaly detectors, were ordered to patrol the outer perimeter of the fleet, in order to detect enemy submarines. Persian nuclear attack submarines were also ordered to scan the surrounding areas. In other words, an effective ASW was set up to defend against possible submarines.

Admiral Behdur would then open a line of communication to the Japanese, "This is Admiral Behdur of the Imperial Navy of Persia. We are conducting a basic routine patrol of the area in accordance to international law. How can I help you fine people today?"

Two squadrons of F-22s would be launched from Singapore to patrol near the Persian fleet, as well as the Imperium fleet performing its own ASW maneuvers, the SOSUS line strung from the mainland down to Sumatra assisting in these. 6 Mistubishi E/A-18G  would be launched from the fleet running their own jamming systems, Two EL/M-2075 would join the MQ-9 with patrolling the Andaman Sea, their AESA radar far less susceptible to jamming. The hundreds of gun emplacements embedded down the coastlines of Sumatra and mainland Malaysia would sound the alarms, preparing for potential engagements. The Persian fleet movements would be heavily monitors and the information relayed directly to Tokyo.

"The Strait of Malacca is closed to non allied military traffic at this time, the recent attacks by the Nords against our fleet have given us reason to believe that there an immediate threat to the Imperium and as such we cannot allow you to continue further east, When assurances the Indian Ocean is free of threats towards us the Malacca will be reopened. If you have further questions I am ordered to direct you to contact our Foreign Affairs department.

"Be advised, we are detecting multiple fighters on our RADAR." Admiral Behdur looked at the AEGIS screen, glancing at the multiple targets. "Target the fighters, and feed the data to the appropriate missile. We need to be ready to act at a moments notice." Afterwards, the Admiral would release another encoded dispatch to the Japanese Fleet, "Be advised, this area of the ocean does not belong to any nation. According to international law, this would be considered international waters; therefore, impeding our movements would be considered a direct act of war. At this point in time, we request that you allow us to move forward." Behdur rubbed his chin, "Lets see where this takes us." Afterwards, Behdur sent word to Imperial Naval Command, in Persepolis, of the current situation.

On board the Xerxes-class supercarriers, the F/A-18E Super Hornets were prepped and ready to go, with one squadron being placed into the skies to perform CAP.

OOC: Diplomatic post, non military, as such no further movements por favor vektor.

"The Imperium has reason to believe there is an imminent danger to our territories, allowing an unaligned military fleet of this size through our most vital water into such close proximity to our home islands would be suicidal, especially after the allegedly "random" attack by the Nords, it makes no sense for such an attack to occur without additional support, especially in the Indian Ocean where the Nords have no reason or purpose to be. We question why the Persians are trying to get into the South China Sea, and not actively searching their own waters for the Nordic fleet that viciously slaughtered thousands of Imperium Citizens.

"How about you both pull back and bring your fleets to Yangon. We can talk about our mutual objectives for the Indian Ocean together. Jointly, we three can ensure there is no further incursions in this region and provide greater stability.. and all it requires if you both pull back and let us provide free maintenance on all your ships while you're in harbor and being a little thirsty." Yun Li proposed by radio. "Turn your guns to neutral facing if you agree.. and I chose your guns because I know you don't want to move the rest of your other systems for fear the other will act first. Given the real firepower isn't in cannons anymore. I can tell both of you if the other is in compliance."

While we sympathize with your plight, the issue with the Nords has nothing to do with the Imperium of Persia. As stated before, we are conducting routine patrols inside of international waters, and your hindrance is in direct violation of various international laws. As such, we currently view your moves as belligerent and as a direct act of war against the Imperium.

"The Malacca Strait is not international waters, it is Imperium waters, of which we have provided security in the region for longer than any nation in existence currently. We are requesting you respect our policies during times of war. just as we would respect your own wishes in the Persian Gulf. Unless you can prove a valid reason for requiring passage into the Imperium then we will not allow you passage as a non allied nation during a war. This policy has been enacted since the War of the Twin Chinas, and your threats upon us will not do you any favors in changing our opinion. As previously stated, if you wish to resolve this diplomatically we suggest coming into contact with our Minister of Foreign Affairs."
