We give up utterly trying to forge our own path and set our own agenda, and instead throw ourselves headlong, prostrate, on the mercy and beneficence of those radical bros at MI5. We have awaited this moment with eager anticipation and are downright tingly just thinking about how TIGHT this will be! Technically,none of that MI4 stuff is true, but we have brought you here to announce that: Kashmir is hereby disbanding… …This Kashmir Co-Prosperity thing. KCP was conceived of as a gentlemen's agreement with those we consider friends and allies without tangling ourselves into the aptly-named treaty web as some have shown to be a slippery slope indeed (but I don’t mean NG, IRON, Valhalla, or anybody like that so stop asking), but nerds like schattenman no offense have a difficult time wrapping their minds around it and simply resort to calling it an ODP bloc which it sertainly isn't. So now for reasons unrelated to any of that, we've recently decided we don't like KCP anymore so we're doing away with it. We felt the need to get that one guy Botarele or whatever's hopes up and dash them like burned bacon hitting the floor, and chose to make a topic called Kashmir disbandment. Suck it Robatele!!! I'd also like to thank Lex Quintus of Flotsam for co-authoring this marvelous announcement, he's been a real joy to work with. mattski133 Posted July 27, 2014 Report Share Posted July 27, 2014 It started out as an open ended thing to grow and become more interesting as time went on, but all I found personally was that after four or five "signatories" it became obvious that it had already become too unweidly. such is the state of affairs around here with the rich and varied personalities and mottos as for protectors, we never had one outside of our nuclear stockpiles but it has been pretty clearly communicated that the previous signatories of the KCP can expect the same level of martial commitment from us, and it seems they feel similarly. regardless, we can handle ourselves in a fist fight if you're feeling froggy. we'll let you guys know if we come up with any other revolutionary concepts in the meantime. Still -- and this is just me spitballing -- perhaps a good move rather than refer to a paperless thing which many continued to confuse with paper, a thing meant to be descriptive which may have over time become prescriptive. we'll let you guys know if we come up with any other revolutionary concepts in the meantime. Until that time, I will refer to Kashmir and their dealings as "Kashmir and their dealings." And Lex Quintus can quote me on any of this.
