The Qestion about India

SEATO forces detecting something amiss deployed from Druk Yul to their staging areas in India with the Indian military. They began consulting with the military command of India to try to determine what has happened to the Raj. 100,000 troops arebeing deployed throughout the Indian subcontinent to ensure there is no descent into anarchy and to facilitate civil government. The highest ranking Indian military official of India's armed forces would be tapped to lead the SEATO troops. 10,000 also were deployed to Bangledesh as the Indian government had been helping with the care of that region. Druk Yul was still at DEFCON3 from its encounter with Russia, but without increasing threat level mobilized an additional 200,000 troops due to the increased levels of insecurity in the region.

Having reached agreement with Perisa and India's military on the deployment of permanent forces, troop movements in the region began. As 50,000 troops pulled back from Western India as part of SEATO's over-watch force they were redeployed. 10,000 went with the 2nd Fleet to the Island of Sri Lanka where they disembarked and began setting up civil services with the civilian population. They were very soft handed about how the changes were implemented and they worked with forces loyal to the former Raj to make the transition as smooth as possible. There was some organized resistance, but it was met carefully. Force was only used if it was absolutely necessary and extreme rarity when negotiation could be used to resolve the conflict of interest. While they were in Colombo, they searched for the Raj.. not expecting to find him but doing due diligence just the same.

Another 10,000 were deployed to Arunachal Pradesh and its surrounding provinces by rail. Ten thousand were sent to Andhra Pradesh. Ten thousand were sent to Jharkand and its surrounding provinces as a group, being careful not to enter areas marked for Persian control. Ten thousand to Bangledesh.

The remaining 50,000 forces also deployed to India as part of SEATO's task guard became the Druk Yul security forces for that region. 20,000 were distributed to Tamil Nadu and its adjacent provinces, exluding regions marked for Persian control. 30,000 were positioned in Chhattisgarh and its surrounding provinces, excluding territory marked for persian control.

1/7 for following terroitories: Sri Lanka, Bangledesh, Arunachal Pradesh and surrounding smaller provinces, Andhra Predesh and its smaller surrounding provinces, Jharkand and its smaller surrounding provinces, Tamil Nadu and its adjacencies north and south, Chhattisgarh and its surrounding provinces that are not part of the negotiated Persian split as defined here. More detail will be given to each region as that particular one is focused upon. Right now, Sri Lanka is the main area of activity.

Given the stress levels in Tongzhi..the govenrment of Druk Yul really didn't want a spill over of the violence into its regions and while parts of Thailand made a good buffer, they were going to be doubly sure. Transit infrastructure on the east indian sea board and the north east regions of India as well as Bangledesh were slated for improvements while the military built up defenses to protect the region from outside incursion and tightened border and immigration security. This was done with the support of the Indian populace who now were thankful some authority was there to protect them from the spread of conflict.

2/7 for the following areas: Sri Lanka, Bangledesh, Arunachal Pradesh and surrounding smaller provinces, Andhra Predesh and its smaller surrounding provinces, Harkand and its smaller surrounding provinces, Tamil Nadu and its adjacencies north and south, Chhattisgarh and its surrounding provinces that are not part of the negotiated Persian split as defined here. More detail will be given to each region as that particular one is focused upon. Right now, Arunachal Pradesh, bangledesh, and their surrounding smaller provinces are the main areas of activity.

As the situation in Arunachal was stabilized, Druk Yul troops proceeded southwest to Jharkand and its surrounding provinces, working with the local government of the former Raj, setting up representation for the people in the parliament. They held local elections to make sure the people they were appointing held popular support. In this manner the people of the region were finding themselves brought under the protection of Druk Yul. As they went the faith of the Dreamer spread. The 2nd Fleet was pulled back from its Indian patrols, inspiring awe on the ground.. leaving the Indians thinking, "If Druk Yul cannot give us a stable protective governance, who can?"

Recruitment drives drummed up the number of local participants in Druk Yul's armed forces and they became the MP forces of the region. Hiring peace officers and training them was not difficult. The cultures of the two countries was not too dissimilar. The women in particular welcomed the rapid and heavy handed response to crimes of sexual deviance under Druk Yul law.

3/7 for the following areas: Sri Lanka, Bangledesh, Arunachal Pradesh and surrounding smaller provinces, Andhra Predesh and its smaller surrounding provinces, Jharkand and its smaller surrounding provinces, Tamil Nadu and its adjacency north and south, Chhattisgarh and its surrounding provinces that are not part of the negotiated Persian split as defined here. The chaos in Asia was making the Indian occupation difficult. Military resources had been stretched. But with the Russian war winding down more support wsa lent to the recovering subcontinent region. Also, Druk Yul forces were moved from the now indendent Sri Lanka to souther regions of india.. stabilizing the regions around Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu. Integration continued as rolling elections continued to help appoint new administration.

The Indian Radar network was integrated into the Druk Yul network and OTH began to scan the Indian Ocean in conjunction with the aid of Satellites to keep tabs on the crazy events happening out to sea. The people just quietly prayed to their gods.. and some to their dreamer.. that Druk Yul would not be drawn into more conflict.

4/7 for Bangledesh, Arunachal Pradesh and surrounding smaller provinces, Andhra Predesh and its smaller surrounding provinces, Jharkand and its smaller surrounding provinces, Tamil Nadu and its adjacency north and south, Chhattisgarh and its surrounding provinces that are not part of the negotiated Persian split as defined here. Serious work began in the Tamil Nadu region and its surrounding provinces as elections were held and infrastructure to integrate into Druk Yul international systems began. There were even plans to possibly host an OTH site on the very tip of the southern peninsula of India. The people of India were quite supportive.. having seen the people of the Tongzhi devastate themselves from civil conflict, they'd have none of that.

With almost the entire area of all regions now secured, integration began in all regions with public transit networks and the national currency system. The Talon became the standard and any rupees or Raj currencies were taken in and replaced. The old currencies were still considered legal and would be accepted in trade until 1 year (rp time) from today's date. After that only Talons would be legitimate. Collectors rushed to snatch up old currency issues for their holdings as an era in history began to pass.

The few rural regions that remained to be integrated continued to be developed and their representatives appointed. The size of the parliament had almost doubled. Many in Druk Yul were nervous about the power the indian lobby possessed.

6/7 for Bangledesh, Arunachal Pradesh and surrounding smaller provinces, Andhra Predesh and its smaller surrounding provinces, Jharkand and its smaller surrounding provinces, Tamil Nadu and its adjacency north and south, Chhattisgarh and its surrounding provinces that are not part of the negotiated Persian split as defined here. More detail will be given to each region as that particular one is focused upon. All regions are now being worked on progressively by civil services and infrastructure crews.

The final day came. There was a parade in the streets of the major citys all along the eastern Seaboard of the subcontinent. The petition from the Indian delegation went up to the Parliament to add the territory of India and its constituent states to the Druk Yul domain. The request was approved by 2/3rds majority with a few dissenters in regions that feared a loss of influence to the large indian population base. However with concerns for regional security and the conerns of what happens if India gets negative guidance, it was seen as a proper step by most. Both cultures were amicable, there was no reason not to go forward.

The celebrations went deep into the night with fireworks and parties and a sharing of Bhutanese, Nepalese, Tibetan, and Indian cousines in mixed banquets. Paper Red Dragons lead the parades as people celebrated their new patron state.

Neighboring peoples from nearby nations were invited to attend and rejoice with them on their day of union.

7/7 Arunachal Pradesh and surrounding smaller provinces, Andhra Predesh and its smaller surrounding provinces, Jharkand and its smaller surrounding provinces, Tamil Nadu and its adjacency north and south, Chhattisgarh and its surrounding provinces that are not part of the negotiated Persian split as defined here. More detail will be given to each region as that particular one is focused upon. All regions are now fully integrated into the Druk Yul government construct.
