"The Kingdom of Yugoslavia sends many well wishes to the good people of Milan, along with our apology on our rather late message. As another token of our apology, we simply request either a simple diplomatic exchange to be begun at the leisure of the Doge or a diplomatic meeting to be scheduled once more at the Doge's leisure.

We hope that our token is accepted, with good relations and tidings to flourish between our two great countries."

Respectfully,
HM Kralj Dragojev Belojevic

Given the recent tumult, the Doge was wary to leave Milan. However, he figured that a day in Yugoslavia to take his mind off of things might be a good idea. With proper RSVP, he left with his private party and landed in the seat of the Kralj's Kingdom.

The Milanese Doge and his entourage would be greeted at the Beograd International Airport before being escorted into their designated vehicles, the Kralj's subjects ensuring the foreign leader's safety as they drove him towards a refurnished building in the Red District, otherwise known as the Ambassadorial District of the White City.

Once proper procedures had been done, the Doge and his party were lead to one of the building's conference rooms, tasteful Italian art and Milanese decorations dotted the building's halls and rooms as the Kralj stood from his seat, a polite yet warm smile on his face as he strode towards the Milanese party, his right harm extended in greetings.

"I do hope that the trip has been a positive one for you, Doge, and I happily welcome you to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia."

The Doge sipped on his warm cup of tea, taken out of a large thermos he had in his bag. The tea was a spunky but tolerable poppy tea, and soon after he finished, the Doge would be engulfed in a blanket of ecstasy and contentment.

"Thank you. It's quite nice to be here. Very nice indeed..."

The Doge caught himself trailing off in thought. He cleared his voice before correcting a slouch and positioning himself upright.

"So then, what business are we attending to first? I hope some as pleasant as this morning."

"I hoped we could discuss Southern Italy as well as discuss the possibilities with regard to the northern Italians who refused to join in with the Republic," the Kralj answered as he motioned for one of his aides to bring him and his visitors further refreshments.

"I hoped we could discuss Southern Italy as well as discuss the possibilities with regard to the northern Italians who refused to join in with the Republic," the Kralj answered as he motioned for one of his aides to bring him and his visitors further refreshments.

"The breakaway Neapolitan Republic in southern Italy has been brought under our sphere of influence for the time being. They have their own separate civil affairs, but are subject to the national government of Milan, and in return are considered citizens and protected by our armed forces. They can be considered, for all intents and purposes, an autonomous part of the Milanese nation."

Gulping down coma-inducing quantities of poppy tea, the Doge stammered for a moment before continuing.

"As for the pigs of Venetia. They are a nuisance and a security threat. Considering they would never submit to governance by us again, I would more than happily have them stuck in their place by a foreign power friendly enough to shut them up..."

He attempted to cough, but could not gather himself into it.

"Is Yugoslavia a friendly power?"

The Kralj chuckled before clearing his throat.

"The Kingdom is friendly to all except those who threaten our allies, friends or interest, Most Serene Prince," Dragojev replied with as he nodded to his aide, swiftly grabbing his cup and taking a sip of the refreshing beverage.

"Since the Kingdom does have forces in place to prevent banditry and to act as the citizens guards and police in the regions of Sudtirol, Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Guilia," he said before smiling politely at the Doge, "Though I imagine my forces in Sudtirol would have to be recalled since I believe that from my reports that the good Republic intends to integrate it to Milan proper."
