Centurius Posted July 16, 2014 Report Share Posted July 16, 2014 (edited) While I realize an attempt has already been made for a world cup in CNRP2 I believe the fact it has been dead for a month now justifies going for a new one. As things have changed in the meantime with some nations no longer existing I'm also going to have to ask everyone to sign up again. You don't however need to fill in a specific form. Just fill in your current RP nation and an interest to join. I'll use a random number generator to assign you a score and based on that give you a team in a custom tournament in Fifa 14. If this cup is a success I will be doing one every four months. It is my hope we can get 32 teams for a true full tournament but if not anything between 16 and 32 will require qualifiers for some players. We can work that out later though. In true World Cup format it will have both a group stage and a knockout stage. Federation of International Football Associations World Rankings: Alvonia - 96 Pricipality of Tikal -95 Kingdom of Carthage - 87 Kingdom of Sparta - 86 Northlands - 84 French Guiana - 63 Imperium of Japan - 62 Royal Kingdom of Cascadia - 61 Prussia - 53 Republic of Novak - 45 State of Rio de Janeiro - 42 Iceland - 38 Milan - 36 Atlantic Federation - 32 Druk Yul - 13 Baffin Island - 9 Scores are based on the following formula which will be determined at the end of each world cup. Games won * 3 - games lost * 2 + goals made * 0.5 - goals taken * 0.25 with the final number rounded down. The position in the world rankings will affect which team you get in Fifa 14 for the next cup. At the end of each Cup the total score from before that cup will be halved to give newer nations the ability to get a good team as well. You can do as much or as little when it comes to flavour rp regarding it as you want. The games themselves are entirely simmed so require no effort on your part. You can still sign up for FIFA in general though. Groups will be up in a minute, match schedule once I parse it into the game.
